Seriously, I don't think forcing her will be necessary anyway. Like the others pointed out Galatea has no choice but to join the fab 7.

I can't help but be astonished about how positive you are being about Galatea joining the ghosts and how she has no other choice.

@Flar: Thanks for the clarification Can anyone please PM me Shrimpy's translation URL? I've looked in 2 forums where he posts his translations but none is there.

I'd love to know VR's input about those translations since he is a perfectionist

Damn, I just read the chapter 78 on onemanga, rushed over here to share the good news but you guys WHAT? 18 pages in two days!!! Claymore is surely popular! I think Galatea may join the 7, but not on permanent basis. She has 2 strong points to contribute: ability to sense yoma and ability to control yoki. Furthermore, the other two are still after her head, the more reason to travel with the 7 for a while. And for her lost arm, she just got it cut, the wound should still be open, and she should be able to regenerate in no time.

I am not sure which text you are talking about regarding Agatha's arm, but I think it is probably just the slashing sound effect.

as far as the picture inside the spoiler tag goes:

then after the slash where it says "5月号" it means the May issue of the magazine
the part after that I don't understand but I think it is the "To Be conuntined..." phrase that appears at the end of most animes.
again I am not sure about the last part and that's what I am trying to ask here =x

I don't think so, from the Chinese translation I have read it was quite clear that Miata was saying two out of the seven north warriors are much stronger than the rest.

Yeah, I was joking. Well, a little bit, because if anyone could sense Teresa and Irene from Clare then they would probably wet themselves. Riful and Miria were able to sense that Irene's arm was on a different level than the rest of Clare but no one but Irene herself has sensed the Teresa in Clare. I attribute that to Irene having known Teresa personally. Clare's 7 years of working to bring out that arm's strength (I am imagining her doing Conan like practice or push ups) should be enough to bring out a pungent smell though . As for Miria, she has been "better than number 1 in a group" for some time, whatever that means.

Although it does appear that Miata is just referring to 2 scents it probably means two distinct people because she says of the 7. I wonder if she also recognizes that 4 of them smell like awakened beings? If Ophelia could tell then Miata should sure be able to.

I, for one, not in favor of Galatea joining Clare and her group. It'd be better if Clarice and Miata talk things over with the ex-claymores and have them (Clarice/Miata) leave with Galatea instead. And yes, they'll have to desert the organization too.

I don't think Galatea could defeat her one on one. There is no evidence to suggest that Galatea has been training at all for the past 7 years. As far as we know, she is still at her old power level, she has just been supressing her power like crazy. Although it seems like Agatha should be able to handle multiple opponents at a time since she has similar body to riful, but in chapter 77, she said how she doesn't like fighting two opponents at one time. So, if Galatea tried to solo her, she would be easily killed, which is why she needed someone of Miata's skill to help her.

Which brings me to another point...this chapter was only to showcase the ghost 7 battle prowess and teamwork. Realistically, I don't think they even needed 7 people to take out Agatha. Clare and Miria alone would have been more than enough, or a combination of Miria + another ghost or combination of Clare + another ghost. They worked together to increase effiency, it was just so startlingly easy for them!

Hmm...do you guys think Clare would be as strong, if not stronger than Irene now? Hypothetically, if Clare had Irene's arm and Irene had her own powerful arm. Who would win? It's pure speculation of course, but I wonder if Clare is powerful enough to be considered an extremely strong #2 by organizational ranks.

Good catch, I was in a hurry when reading it first time and completely missed that her scar was gone. In the next chapter, I expect her to open her pretty eyes and finally see her saviours. ^__^


On a humourous note, Galatea mentioned in this chapter out loud that Clare was #47. I hope Clarice heard and is like...."WTF, she's the previous #47??! how the frick is she so strong O__o" Maybe she will explain why she herself thinks she's a special and not failed warriror. Did they use the body of another claymore like they did with Clare?

Finally, I don't think Galatea *needs* to join the ghost 7 at all. She has the yoki sensing ability to avoid any and all hunters. She stayed back for Miata to find her on purpose, she could have easily evaded her. That's why even if Clare tells her that Riful is hunting her, she won't neccesarily be worried, she is able to sense Riful and would be able to avoid a confrontation...hopefully. With that being said, I don't see why there would be a problem with her joining the ghost 7. People are saying it will become redundant as they already have a powerful sensor. But, with 2 sensors, they can have 2 powerful attack groups. Miria could lead the one group, with 3 other claymores including the sensor (Tabitha was it?) and the other group would be Clare and Galatea + 2 other claymores. This way, if Clare ever partially awakened, someone with the skill level of Galatea could maybe pull her back This would be my dream situation, dunno what the mangaka will do though.

PS. on page 14-15, who is that whose underwear/panties are showing? can only see her back view

Claymores are trained to battle in teams of 4 anyway . It is the ideal situation to take out AB's, and in Pieta they went back to that standard with additional teams jumping in to help if they were struggling. As I am not sure what the game plan for the G7 is, I don't know if splitting into 2 groups tactically for battle would help them at all. If Galatea knew something about what Riful had discovered, and she better , then that could really change the game plan for the ghosts. As of right now the ghosts game plan is ... I do not really know. Revenge against the organization is a little vague since they keep helping claymores like crazy.

Actually, Shrimpy's translations are questionable sometimes.
Like the dialogue between Miria and Galatea: "If this members form a team, then you must be the leader."
compared to shrimpy's: "I'm guessing that you must be the leader of this team?"
Changing a conditional statement into a question.

As for Miata's line, it's kinda vague. The first two lines doesn't say 7 people, but neither specifically calls out "That lady".
She said:
"Among them, there are two strong scents".
"Everyone are strong, but those two among them are the strongest of all".

The third ones is the clue, and Shrimpy omitted Miata's mention of "seven".
"Among those seven, those two stand above the others"
