Takeo's Sigs & Avys
Hm, can't think of too much to say for an intro...
Art is hardly my thing - I'm more of a science wiz - but I've always enjoyed sketching and doodling. Since I was fortunate enough to receive Photoshop CS2 as a gift a while back, I've spent a lot of time on it instead. I am still pretty new to Photoshop (I used to do all my old terrible avatars in Paint), but have been having a lot of fun messing around and learning while creating sigs and avys for myself and others. I'll be the first to admit I've got a ways to go to be as good as the other artists here, so feel free to comment and leave some feedback. I do want to get better. (Most of my sigs and static avatars are on a DVD back-up I burned...just have to find it...til then, here's what I have left on my drive) Avatars (I've done several requests, though none of which I've posted here unless they're not in use) Spoiler:
Signatures (Most of these are ASF-safe right now, except for the animated .gif) Spoiler:

You've gotten off at a very good start.
This avie somehow makes me giggle and at the same time it's rather cute. Congratz on opening up your own thread and I look forward to your avies and sigs in the future

Bu this avatar, no offense but I don't like how you cover her face like that with the text. You couldn't have lower the text a little bit but keep it the effects the same. I mean I love it but for me the best thing to do is to lower the text to maybe by her shirt or whatever. :

You might want to learn how to create depth and emphasis [generally follows depth, or is it the other way around?] in your work. Right now, there isn't anything specific to look at [the focal point is actually the red jewel in his hand, but it isn't interesting].

Indeed to much blur. And lacking cute girls
But a bit more serious. Try sharped and than erase what you don't need. Or just use the sharpen tool for it on a new apply image layer. And do the same for blurring.
