Volume 5 made little sense, in the end. We go from the hospital and suddenly people are dead with no proper explanations as to what happened. It leaves a huge hole in the story, very bad IMO.

vol. 5 began smoothly but things went nuts after 4th died

there are things that i still dont get

Spoiler:

1) what did murumuru do to speed things up? how did she become involved in 4th's death
2) 4th asked 9th to ally himself with her before he died. is he asking for her to save his son?
3) why did yuno imprisoned yuki instead before the stargazing date?
4) who was the 3rd corpse found in yuno's home? why was she pissed at it?
5) is 8th capable of making false diary holders that are given with the power of telling the future, as seen with the three girls and as what happened to kamado?
6) akise seems to be plotting something. there is a high chance that he is another future diary holder. one that manipulates everyone
7) with the pace of the manga, does anyone think that this would be ending soon?
8) how does the yuno x yuki pairing turn out in the end. i have a feeling that the date that yuno specified where yuki would be holding him would be the date where one of them dies... its just a hunch though ~_~

1. Murumuru told Kurusu about his son's remaining life span. Because he realized he didn't have much time left, he decided to finish things up. Originally, Kurusu wasn't supposed to find out about his son's life span until later and shouldn't have made his move until then.

2. He wanted her to watch out/protect his son.

3. By imprisoning him, she could keep her in one spot and watch him all day. This way, no one can get to Yukiteru and endanger their "Happy end" set for a future date.

4. Unknown, but it is highly likely to be an ex-lover or someone like that (which would relate to Yukiteru)

5. Unknown, but something like that it seems.

6. I don't think his appearance fits any of the silhouettes shown during the meetings of the Holders and Deux Ex. Also, his overall abilities don't show any trace that he can foretell the future. It's just that his personality/attitude is very calm...

7. Nooooo! Such a great manga mustn't end!
Anyways, I don't think it'll end for at least four more volumes.

8. Yukiteru should get away from Yuno and stay away. She's no good, at all.
Or maybe, Yukiteru will win, replace Deux, and turn back time to prevent Yuno from turning out so insane.

1) coming to think of it, murumuru had a devil's tail... could it be that the deus game is a game that decides if the next god is a good god or a bad god. deus chose yuki which i think symbolizes good and sane while muru chose yuno which symbolizes obsession and insanity

2) hmm so kurusu wanted to save his son. when 4th proposed an allegiance, he said that if 9th became god, she must save his son asking her to perhaps, reverse time... or sumthing

3) could the corpse be yuki's father? but that won't be it i guess since yuki said that he would be borrowing a telescope from his father before they left stargazing

4) well akise could be working with/for a future-diary holder. similar of that with hinata (i just thought of this recently ~_~)

5) i hope this manga would last long, giving up clear explanations as to what happens to everyone in detail. also, i wish they would complete the mirai nikki -mosaic since it just featured minene

6) i hope yuki could do that. i wonder if the previous deus was a human that participated in the deus game. but i have a feeling that anyone that dies in the deus game couldn't be revived... just a feeling though >_<

2. He made a deal with her, that if she agrees protect his son, he'll leak police information to her (so she can plan an escape to her liking).

3. I don't think it could be Yukiteru's father.

5. Mosaic only gets a new chapter every so often, but I believe it will focus on most of the characters' pasts. If there is one character I doubt he would cover, it's that teacher who died at the beginning of the manga because he didn't have any background or anything interesting to him.

Actually, Mosaic has 2 chapters out. A RAW is out and I posted a translation some pages back. The second chapter also has a translated version out, but it was by the nameless translators who tends to make horrifyingly bad mistakes.

The third chapter is already out in Japan, but I haven't found it yet.

Personally, I want Yuno to stay away from Yukiteru. Reasons are too obvious. Despite being cute, she's a psycho stalker with corpses in her house.

If you are asking why Yuno decided to kidnap Yukiteru:

She wanted to make sure to safeguard their "good end" thing.
By keeping him in one spot and looking after him, she can stop intruders and other diary holders who want to remove Yukiteru.

Was it is just me or was everyone a little too forgiving of Yuno after they got out? Yukiteru slapped her; ok now we can forgive the fact that she was drowning us a few minutes ago.

Well... Guess so, but it can be thought:
Aru-This guy's always calm. Whether he's attacked by man-eating dogs or getting drowned in concrete.
Kosaka/Hinata/Mao-Tired; don't want to mess with a psycho; "let's get out of here"
Yukiteru-Doesn't want to see her; wants to get far away from the lunatic.

The second Mosaic chapter primarily featured Minene, but it also had just as much Yomotsu, with a page or two of Tsubaki.
It took place between volumes 1 and 2, focusing on what Minene did after escaping the school, how she got caught by Tsubaki, how she got chained up, how her eye was gouged out, and Yomotsu.

How can this manga be so good...?

The chapter starts off with Yukiteru closing himself inside the house, scared of crazy Yuno. The he gets a mail from Deux to gather at his place for the explanation of the 8th's diary.

The group (Mao, Hinata, Kousaka, Aru) gather and discuss.

And so! The 8th's diary identity is revealed!

The 8th's diary is the "server". Every other "apprentice" diary is simple a "terminal". Breaking those diaries do no damage physically to anyone, shown with Kousaka.

Unfortunately, Yukiteru's diary predicts that in three days, one of the 8th's subordinates will attack them. Yukiteru thought about doing everything himself, but Aru pipes up and asks everyone what they think. In the end, they decide to hide Yukiteru in Kousaka's house, because it's big. He wanted to argue, but Mao punched him...
Anyways, good friends, good friends. *tear*

Meanwhile, Yukiteru gets to hide in his house with the police as guards, while Kousaka and co. prepare a counter-plan against the three apprentices.
The only problem... is Yuno. Yuno can know everything about Yukiteru, but not the other way around, which is a big problem.

Then Yukiteru eats with his mom. No problem here. His mom is quite understanding... the PROBLEM is... Yuno. Yes, her.
It turns out that Yuno had been at the house and she made the food and left afterwards... 0_0

Wow, Kousaka's place really is something!

The "wideness" of this place is important. The main part of the plan are the antennas. If they destroy those, the "server" will no longer be able to send information to the "terminals" anymore and the foresight will be sealed.

But... Yuno. AARRGH! YUNOOOO!
She cuts the wire, preventing Yukiteru from pressing the switch to stop the antenna from sending out signals...!

Yukiteru: Why, Yuno!!?!!?
Yuno: Yukki saw me, Yukki saw me.

Yeah, dear god this is bad...

You know the big hole that appeared in Yuno's house, that Aru discovered and showed Yuno?

There was a page before that where Yuno is shown digging the hole, and on the last panel, she wonders what she was burying...

On a more random note, the bonus in the volume was Tsubaki. Like the other bonuses, pretty pointless, but Tsubaki is one of my favorite characters in Mirai Nikki, so all welcome! Though it did show that her eyesight is pretty bad...
Too bad she's dead... Poor girl.
