Well if one considers that the main push on this thread started just one month ago, the amount of material generated in nearly unthinkable. Rapidly closing in on 5,000 posts in 30 days.

It is perhaps fortunate that the amount of material generated will give the artists a huge reserve to work from. Art takes time. Writing tends to be faster and can be a group effort.

From the looks of it, a later hand scribbled in the Japanese translation of the last line afterwards. Otherwise, the rest of the text is Chinese.

Much easier to use sound effect with Japanese kana then Chinese character, easier too.
And Japan did ruled Taiwan for about 50 years, some of the Taiwanese word are Japanese.
