It was basically the same as in the manga. They just stopped again because else they'd be catching up to the manga.
Yeah, they stopped it there to imply Gon found his dad, but IMO that was the best place to stop.

They could very well make more anime once this story arc in the manga is over.

Pitou is unable to use nen whenever Doctor Blythe is active, so he can only beg Gon and Killua for enough time to save Komugi, and he would do whatever Gon wants him do after.

So if Gon must fight Pitou, he has only two choices, at least in my eye, 1) wait until Pitou done treatment; 2) kill Komugi to force Pitou into fighting.

I personally think Gon would take option 2 if Killua not there to stop him.

Well the most sensible thing to do would be to just kill Pitou and go and help the others, but that will obviously not happen.

Although it should do because if Gon does anything else then it will be him that is selfish. Putting his own wants and needs before everyone else.

I always thought it was a girl, due to the hair and what I thought were knee high tights in the characters earlier appearences but apparently the Official Hunter x Hunter guide says he is male!

Although I've never seen a translation of the official guide.

The mother protecting her cubs reference in the latest issue has brought the discussion back up again, maybe hermaphrodite?

Well, as I thought Gon is not going to fight Pitou like that. Also, seems like we won't see a fight at all since Pitou promised to heal Kaito after healing the girl. Then again, a lot of things can happen on 1 hour.

They have only shown up once after Greed Island. Until then they are still waiting for any info about Kuroro, so Kurapika's curse hasn't been lifted. But it may have been done just we have been told since Genei Ryodan is not the focus at this point of time.

ok, so after watching the tv/ova series for a 4th time, i wanted to get into the manga after GI , which from what i've gathered starts at chap 185. The first 2 pages have ants on them. Please tell me that the manga is worth continuing, because ants seem like a REALLY stupid plotline to me :\

Is it kinda weird, but I supose its original at the time same time. You'd have to read a lot of manga to catch up, but cause I like HXH so much I did and now I am caught up, and its at an exciting moment which the saga will end soon and will get back to the spiders and the Kurapika.

One thing I hope they do, is do what they did in shippuuden.. Age gon from 12 to like 15 or 16, that'd be awesome. I'd like to see hanzo also, he's gotta be extremely strong as a ninja nen user

That was the longest 12 hours I've spent catching up to where the HxH manga was from where the anime left off. All I can say is interesting read so far except the brutality of some actions and censorship had me wondering if I was reading the same show I liked.

So tired but in a good way though.
