Aye, few wear kimono because, frankly, they're a pain to get on. Mostly used for extremely formal or special events. Most girls and women wear the yukata (light cotton or silk summerwear) because its much simpler to wear and, yes, a lot lighter and cooler.
(secretly, they're also sexier ) yukata are also perfectly appropriate MEN's wear though some young males tend to wear the hapi coats unless they're being standard twit and wearing western wear.

I still remember the Suzumiya Haruhi one I saw funny as hell to watch and don't even get me started on the Rozen Maiden, Fate/Stay Night, Lucky Star, and Higurashi ones...Unforgettable because they sucked so much...

Got myself 2 copies of that for $150 in my local currency. Somboday tell me I'm not that fanatical. Scans for Chapter 36 should be out later today. |

Read, Covered And Catalogued
We have here an ironic situation of a guardian who through his own self-sacrificing to provide the utmost for Rin, has actually failed her in that she now has to take care of him as he slides into a childlike state of dependency and slow mental breakdown headed to a full unravelling of his psyche. By sacrificing him self he is putting even more stress on Rin, because she wants for them to both be happy together, whereas Reiji sees himself as secondary next to Rin. Poor Rin, if only she could get through to him that she can take care of herself and make her own decisions and that Reiji needs to start living his own life as well as allowing her to live her own, they could be happy. It's going to take a lot of work and probably a little bit of tragedy for that to happen though. And I don't see it turning out like the TV Series where she stabs him with a pair of safety scissors thinking she's killed him, only for him to have a vision of Aki who sets everything write via pseudo deus ex machina. No it's going to get worse before it gets better, but I feel it will get better in the end. |

seems like Aoki can no longer lie to himself that what he feels for Rin if Paternal love eh? And man... is Reiji ever so F'd up in the head... he's raising (almost like cattle... I mean come on, he's giving her food to make sure she has nice hair and skin for when they get married) a girl to be his wife... Dude, needs to get run over by a car...

Oh dear...this is chapter showed significant advancement, and not entirely in a good way. We see the way how both Reiji and Kokonoe sort of broke down and released their feelings. And that kiss...all I can say is "Pedobear approves where this is going".
