I think that soon we will have a focus in Lavi because panda was lecturing him about not take the chance to become his innocence in crystal type... and that they maybe will need to leave...
Oh and the new noah looks very vampire style......

Since there's no DGM this week, I thought we might shift our focus onto the current plot.

Spoiler for current situation:

No SJ this week, as it's the Labour Day Golden Week in Japan.

I must say that my predictions for D.Gray have been off the mark many times. Still, Komui without his glasses and lifting his hair to reveal the crosses: I swear I'll faint from the sight (too sexy, even if you're a guy).

Baseless speculations tend to do that.

The only way Komui can even be remotely a Noah would be that his Noah side hasn't awakened yet. Taking that into consideration, it would seem the Earl has already gathered the Noahs by his side, seeing how he was there for Skin's awakening.

DGM had its fair share of WTF moments.

1) Bloody Krory. Man, whoever saw that one coming is good.
2) CC Omega turning out to be quite useless.

My point is DGM can be so crazy, and that's why I really liked it among the series in SJ.

That may be, however, if your only reasoning is because it's "Too insane that it's actually possible!", then that doesn't really help at all.

Yeah, I agree it's a bit wild. Anyway, a few more days before SJ resumes. Hang in there for the wait!

Some things that got me thinking:
  • When Lenalee's shins started bleeding there was a cross mark exactly the same as the cross marks the Noah have on their forehead.
  • Allen's innocence is shaped like a cross on the back of his hand and resembles the Noah's marks also.
  • A part of Allen's innocence is in his heart.
  • The marks on the noahs foreheads was called "stigmata" at some point (Shortly after Road appeared, I believe)
  • Stigmata are the wounds christ received on the cross: a wreath of thorns across the forehead (Noah), nails through the feet (Lenalee's innocence?), nails through the hands (Allen's innocence?), pierced in the side (The innocence Allen has in his heart?)*

Based on the above I believe the exorcists and the Noah are connected somehow.

My crazy theory: Maybe the Noah are the exorcists from 7 thousand years ago. After defeating the Earl they were forsaken by god (something to do with what General Cross said ~ "you can't fight the Earl with hatred"?). Instead of becoming Togaochi they became the Noah (maybe the Earl saved their bodies in exchange for their servitude?)

Like I said, crazy theory...

*The original stigmata is to have wounds on the feet, not the shins as Lenalee did. Allen only has the cross shape on one hand, not both. In the stigmata, the spear wound is on the right side of the chest while Allen's innocence is obviously on the left since it's part of his heart. So it's close, but not quite right. Maybe it's just artistic licence? I still think it's close enough to warrant a connection between the two.

I do believe there is a connection between Noahs and Exorcits, but I'm not sure if your 'theory' is right. In fact, I would not ever think about that and, although it can make sense, I don't believe this connection is explained by the Stigmatas =p

Artistic licence? Why not?!

umm... this really doesn't pertain to the plot or story-line of DGM at all but how come animesuki doesn't have a forum for it? It does have an anime (up to 81 at the moment unless a new ones been released) and it's pretty popular... (at least from what I've seen around. It's ranked pretty high)

It's a very long shot, but I guess it wouldn't be wrong to say that there is an Asian Noah somewhere. Hence, my crazy theory that it could be Komui. He represents "resolve"; as such, he is the only Noah that can touch Innocence without it harming him or giving him away.

I know: crazy theory.
