Great Teacher Onizuka - Maybe one of the best comedies there is, well atleast in my opinion, I've watched it two or three times cos it's so damn funny!
Minami-ke - About three sisters that live together, quite funny. Lovely Complex - Comedy but includes romance . Classes tallest girl falling in love with the shortest boy, I liked it. |

Zero no Tsukima and GTO have already been mentioned.
Some recent stuff: They are My Noble Masters Genshiken 1 & 2 For some older stuff, there are: Koko wa Greenwood Irresponsible Captain Tylor As for stuff airing this season, I'm only aware of Itazura na Kiss and Soul Eater. |

in the "absurd" genre of funny :
high school kimengumi ( hilarious ), yakitate japan ( funny sometimes ), cromartie highschool ( some episodes are boring thouh ) for the record, I've only watched love hina in your list and didn't find it funny at all so we probably have a different sense of humour

If you're going to watch one of these shows, watch Great Teacher Onizuka, it's simply classic. Funny, clever, likable and original, and has one of the greatest leads ever. Onizuka's even greater than Harima Kenji, if you can believe that.
And yes, it does take a special kind of person to enjoy Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. It's pretty funny, but completely whack, and definitely not something that everyone, or even most people, will enjoy.

Seto no Hanayome- just destroyed me and made my throat hurt some of the best laughs i've had in a while
Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu- did the same thing to me as seto no hanayome, although it'd be funnier if you saw the first full metal panic at least(which is still funny but unlike fumoffu it's primary purpose wasn't to make you laugh) |

If your watching to love ru, you will probably like Kanokon which is airing on same days(?) as to love ru. It's comedy & ecchi.
Genshiken is also recommended if you like slice of life (life of otaku) and comedy, and Seto no Hanayome is also a must |
