I can't believe everyone is bashing Orochimaru like this, when he's clearly one of the most giving people in the series... Its as if everyone forgot the homeless shelters he built, giving people a golden opportunity to partake in his glorious endevours. And, look at the sound four, one of them whom we've actually been shown a glimpse of his past: A homeless child victimized by a time of war with no one else to turn to (his parents, friends, etc. were killed)... He is then taken in by Orochimaru and given the opportunity to become a skilled and capable ninja, able to do for himself. And also, lets not forget that he was also willing to bring Tsunade's loved ones back to life and cancel his plans to attack Konoha for a just a small favor...

Hinata on the other hand, is *clearly* one of the most evil characters of all (if not the evilest); she denies herself of her most prominent desire, and at times even thinks of others before herself.

(This is, of course, according to what seems to be Orochimaru's philosophy; an insanely extreme variant of Ann Rand's Objectivism lol )

Although I don't consider Lawful evil as great since they bound themselves by Rules, codes, and traditions regardless of whether those standards are evil or not.
