need anime suggestions

Hi, I am looking for animes like Code Geass and Death Note. I love the plots of these series and the mental battles in this series make them especially interesting. It is also nice to see things from the perspective of the anti-hero. I also love the plot twists of these series. I have seen naruto, darker than black, spiral, and monster

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything else even remotely similar to Death Note and Code Geass that you haven't seen, that I know of. Now there are things that have those similarities, but not every one you mentioned combined

The closest thing I can think of is Elfen Lied. The female main character is an "anti-hero", it also has a lot of psychological aspects and there is a mystery wrapped around it. Not really many plot twists, but Check this one out. No "mental battles" that I can remember though. Personally, I thought this was better than Death Note

Now if your looking for "mental battles" try something like Detective Conan. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is one I'm reluctant to suggest, but try it, cause some people hate it and some love it. It has the thick mental atmosphere that CG and DN have.

My favorite series with a lot of plot twists is Claymore, so check that out.

Lol sorry i couldn't be of much help, hopefully, somebody else could suggest something better

Please spoiler tag that, yugioh5000.

You might like Gundam 00, Saikano, or ~ef~ A tale of memories.

Try Paranoia Agent if you don't mind psychedelic anime, it can keep you guessing almost to the end.

Or Higurashi no Naku koro ni if you want an extremely elaborate mystery with lots of deaths and gore. And great cast of characters.

Aren't these suggestions a tad... random?

@yugioh: Use "liek" if you're going to mispell "like". It's much cooler.

I agree with Elfen Lied and that it's better than Death Note.
And so is Higurashi.

Keep in mind that Higurashi is more mature than both Death Note and Code Geass, not only in the obvious field of violence (ZOMGSHION), but it actually has plot depth and requires some thought to follow the storyline.

Maybe Monster, too. It's a mystery sometimes likened to Death Note, though it's a tad longer (exactly twice as many episodes, actually).

Claymore isnt really a mental anime. Its serious and action oriented though.
Elfen Lied is just... terrible.

@qtip i have already seen monster and i have started watchin elfen lied. I have only seen two episodes so far but i'm not likin it too much. I will keep watchin tho. As for Paranoia agent, I will try that after I either drop elfen or finish it. However, idk why but i dislike gundam series.

You could always go to http://www.anime-planet.com/anirec/death-note. Just click the button that says "recommendation reasons" and you can decide whether you want to start it
