I just don't see how the jiji could have missed figuring out that Lulu was his mother's son. He used her maiden name, for Haruhi's sake!

I'm guessing Kallen test pilots the upgraded Guren with Suzaku watching in his mech. Just in case she tries to escape with it. Later on, I think Lelouch while his tries to get Kallen back. Some way, some how gets the Guren and Kallen at the same time.

So what's stopping him from lying to V.V. to get a chance to get to Lelouch's side, now that he knows Zero is Lelouch? One does not get a contract from V.V. and then say "Okay, now that I have this nifty power, I'm gonna go betray you and join your enemy, 'kay?"

I dunno , I remember a previous semi-drama a while ago about that , and I thought it was agreed that Lamperouge wasn't her last name , just something fake.

maybe it was confirmed in an audio drama ? or some magazine ?

when you don't see someone you weren't super personanly close with after 8 years , chances that you recognises him on the spot are slim. And seriously , why would the emperor send anyone to kill his own son ?

Don't remember if there was an official source for it, but the topic of "Lamperouge is Marianne's maiden name" came up a couple of times even back during and after first season, and the conclusion was always that it's a fake name.

Anyone can confirm this? I just checked MAHQ and they looked different. Those new wings look like those OotBK ones.
