my friend predicted that Gino would be the kind to join the OotBK and be killed by Suzaku for it.

why would they ? they don't know Lelouch personally. Anya maybe , but that's very unlikely.
Nay , I think everyone is going to discover Charles is about to do some pretty bad sh*t that could end up destroying the world , and they'll all be BFF.

Oops, missed him... focused too much on Anya

Anyway, Anya might be playing a larger role now that it's revealed that she has some sort of relationship with Lelouch (and her appearance in the new OP makes me feel as if she will be an important character).

People that aren't there in the OP are the other KoR members, or the other Princesses, along with Shirley for now obvious reasons. We also got Nina's weapon being deployed in one scene. On to Season 3!

Hmm. On Kallen, there could be hints either way as I see it. Two-three times she's shown in the OotBK uniform and when she's seen in her flight suit, it is together with the OotBK. But OTOH, she's briefly shown together with Gino and Anya (though this could hint at the rivality with them or the like - or it coudl hint at that those three will all be switching sides) and the Guren is shown with Britannian upgrades and the Lancelot and Guren are (after the knightmares are shown together) shown together in the dark, sorta - though that might just hint at a future confrontation between the two or the like, but it coudl also be that it means that those willb e the hardest obstacles for th eOotBK to overcome, sorta. Hard to say what to make of it, really...

Probably Llyod will find some use into upgrading Tristant's float system......but erm..
the fact that he'd updrade it with lakshata float system just doesn't work. He's too full of himself to do that.

We don't know if they do or don't. As far as we know Lloyd takes care of all those three KoR's knightmares...

wasn't it said in the novel they each had their technicians. but then again , I don't know how canon that novel was.
which brings it all back to ..would LLyod really put a Lakshata made float system on tristain ? Remember how he reacted when he saw that she completed Hadron canon ?
Unless he modifies it , but then again , he would have put a different look to it...

It could be one of those desperately-needed, on-the-spot repair jobs in the middle of a crisis. Something to just keep its flight ability functional. Happened enough in the first season, after all, replacing those arm parts and the like.

Also, was it just me, or did it look like Tristan was wielding a pair of swords, and not its trademark halberd?
