I don't want him to die a terrible death, too. Whom would it help? Lulu got his revenge? and then? That wouldn't really help anyone if he dies without any way of redeeming himself before. I'm sure he will die but I hope it will be a meaningful death

I just watched this episode and I really cried(even though I didn't
understand a word they were saying...no subs)!What did Shirley say to Rolo?Why would he stab/shoot her?I didn't understand that part.

I think it will be like Naoto's death or something like that.

There still Rollo in his pilot suits so i think he will die AFTER a meaningfull battle.

whether her death will have a meaning or not will be seen in the next episodes, there can be meaning without throwing herself into a bullet meant for someone else ;-)

sherly's death was know to us (and anyone else who's been following this or other threads for days now
it was becouse of that stupid magazine fuck up that said ep14 would deal with the events of her death
if we didnt know about it it would have came as a huge shock (about as big as what happened to luise in gundam 00)
its not that shocking becouse we knew it was coming so we just talk about rolo (if it was or wasnt him)
if we didnt know we'd all be "OMG they just killed sherly"
thats why the debate has shifted to rolo being the one or not

While the presentation itself was a bit on the shallow side (owing a bit to having each episode limited to 20 +/- min) it's been one of the best eps, imho, between both R1 and R2. Interesting turn of events too with Orange :P

btw, did anyone else think that the new OP/ED are god awful (just like every OP/ED has been for this series)..now it seems like even the OP animation has become really stupid|idiotic...tis a shame, since I thought the first 3 OP animations (R1~R2) were pretty well done...
