True. Multiple regions in each country. Or 1 region for multiple country's?

live in the same country, dont care what my parents think because i'm an adult X3
but im not going anyway because plane tickets are too expensive for my budget..
id rather spend it on my college fees so that i dont stand red on my bank acount XD

either way the over all idea is good but id ont think it will work for larger crowds..
for starters age, underage people who first off need permission to get here (otherwise we could all be in serious trouble..) and the difference between people's interpetation of what to do on such an event, you cant do some of the things ive seen flying around the topic with minors around by that meaning 16 and under specificaly though in America ( i dont know the rules very well but that could go up to an even higher age) and other countries.. Holland is very laid back int hat sort of cases but countries varry
other factors, budget.. flying is very expensive... and we're all scattered all over the world =3

Indeed.. If I want something I have to pay up myself. Unless its to expensive and if its for my room. And clothes. My parents pay for my clothes. But is nothing since I HATE shopping and thus don't spend much on clothes. I got like 3 pants and 6 shirts.

Since ive been locked in my room for the past 6 years ( full time hardcore gamer) now that i actually do something usefull my parents pay for it, everything that involves my study and socializing they probably pay for it. but i mean, i buy clothes and gadgets myself.

Edinburgh festival is running at the moment. So i thought if some of you guys are coming here for a visit, why not try to meet up. I was thinking maybe a picnic or something similar, something free woud be nice ^^. I'm trying to get at least 5 people together. If someone is interested drop me a pm or just post here, if it ok with the mods.

That is probably the main issue for most people. That is why i'm trying to get people together during a bigger event. Most cities have festival seasons or events, i.e. running marathons, so i thought if people are already visiting a place, why not try to arrange a meet up.

I'm reminded of a friend talking about a local anime club that shall remain nameless -
• People would go into the room to watch anime
• People would sit silently and watch the anime
• People would get up and leave the SECOND the anime viewing was done

He tried to set up a pizza night or bowling night or something, but only 2 people out of the group showed any interest at all. The rest were like "no anime? I'm staying home."

Hopefully there are enough members on here that we wouldn't have to worry about stuff like that - if people were to set up barbecues or pool nights - but it would probably be best to start with something anime-related (screening night or anime con) and see how well that works out, IMHO.
That was unfortunate, I think I was pitching we go get pizza afterwards. I arrived and met up with my group a bit late too.
I haven't been since though, so I'd be interested in going again sometime.
