As soon as I saw all those balls atop the mountain, I just knew they were going
to come to crashing down and destroy the town.

What surprised me was that Amelia was the one that ended up doing it instead of
Lina. I guess some of Lina's destructiveness is starting to rub off on her.

Lessee, Pokota's already destroyed one town with his Dragon Slave and Amelia's
destroyed one with the ball-avalanche.

I wonder who's gonna destroy the next town. Zel? Gourry? Lina? Or someone

Besides Lina+Gourry did a fine job demolishing that town in their fake tank . Time for Zel to do something dark and re-establish himself . This goes on too long and he'll only be a comic sidekick.

Only if it means the return of 'absolutely out of his mind' Zel from a few episodes back. That or it'll be an accident.

He almost destroyed a forest when Lina egged him on a few episodes back. I'd say Zel does a fairly good job reminding people that

Fillers aren't so bad. If anything i enjoy the fillers from slayers more than any other anime i've watched except maybe one piece

The only progress in the story seen for the sixth episode is that Duclis is waiting for someone named Zuma to arrive.

I speculate that Zuma's introduction will put in motion the trio's plan:
- Perfecting the Zanafar's armor.
- Had acquired the Sword of Light.

As for the rest of the episode, certainly I do not want to picture Amelia following her father's footsteps!

I'm more interested in them finding Gourry a new sword. That could be as epic as finding Claire Bible manuscripts.

It's great too see they managed to kept Zuuma/Zooma as a serious/lethal character.
Him running into Xellos in that abandoned story of Zel and Xellos would have been awesome material if it were ever animated.

Zooma and Xelloss stood face to face. Around them were dead bodies of the soldiers of Krotz. Xelloss said to Zooma. 'Well, what will you do?' Zooma replied, 'I kill if I am ordered to kill --- I am an assassin. But --- I know I can't --- kill you', and he ran away from Xelloss. Xelloss gazed after him and said, with a smile. Though, I do think that they should license this show immediately and get it out BEFORE 2010!!

I didn't buy the Slayers before watching them subbed. It's not going to be any different for Revolution I'm afraid, doubly so because it's a bit questionable whether it's going to live up to expectations at this point. And besides, you just know they're going to charge an arm and a leg for a classic series, when it used to go for forty bucks for three seasons. Screw the fans, I need more money!

With it being one of the only choices left just went with the raw. Geeze those bums really did know when the series was going to start kicking things up and sent those orders to cease at the right moment. Zuuma arrives in this one and pushes both Lina and Gourry in seperate engagements into tough spots. Then from the preview looks like Weiser and Xellos will be going after Lina in another capture situation. Bah that's just low.

WTH?! Funimation decides on "behalf" of a Japanese co. to not sub Slayers Revolution anymore. How come other series get fansubbed and don't even do anything about it? Most of their original VAs left for California for VA work and they still have the nerve to pull a C&D letter?
Why don't they just go after fansubbed anime that they get licensed? Only watching RAW and wished I learned some Japanese.

Why the C&D order? How is this a good move on their part? Are they hoping to gouge Western fans with DVD sales? I can tell you one thing, and that's they won't be creating new fans by doing this.
