No clue. All we saw of the 0 was it hovering above Setsuna, Soran, whichever, and letting loose a shitload of GN Particles. The pilot's unidentified.

Actually, given the newly released info, and going back to the lines, Ian was referring to the 0 Gundam's drives not "matching".

The HG 00 manual implies that the 00 Gundam does use both 0 Gundam and Exia drives, but in tandem: Their energy resonates which each other in the Twin Drive System, hence increasing the GN Particle output exponentially. However, for this to work the power output of the two GN Drives used must be compatible with each other, i.e. their resonances should sync. Otherwise you get an unstable reaction (and even then, the info states that even with the 0 Gundam and Exia's compatible drives, the 00 Gundam's Twin Drive System is still unstable).

Ian at the time was probably referring to the 0 Gundam's drive not being compatible with the other GN Drives they had in their possession when tested with the 00 Gundam. Hence, why they needed Exia's GN Drive to mix and match to determine its compatibility.

Eh, few of the Geass folk ever had a liking towards Gundam or 00, probably.

Still, the 0 is an enigma. Perhaps, if we delve more into Setsuna's past, be it through the man himself or Ali or Marina, we may find out more about the Gundam, too.

I bet that if my abovementioned spoiler happens the ratings for 00 will skyrocket like how Time's website is "Chou-Tashiro-hou-ed".

The Twin-drive system.....I was wondering if it can be fitted to Seravee instead. It is more useful anyway than on 00, but.....Sunrise's protagonists need a cool-looking uber-Gundam.

Well, to be honest, I have very little doubts so far about Louise dying, and possibly rather horribly (since the other Gundam psychos/druggies didn't really get good deaths at all, and the one who lived from memory, Katejina Loos, still got blinded by a beam saber), but...that...yeah.

I seem to recall the novel adaptations pretty much identified Ribbons as the pilot of the 0 Gundam.

Not like that's a confirmation, but it's something to think about.

Ribbons is voiced by Amura Ray, and 0 Gundam looks too much like RX-78-2 (or Gundam Mark II if you want get technical). The hints from novel and cd drama pretty much confirm Ribbons as its pilot.

Speaking of Ribbons, what will the Innovators pilot? More Gundams with GN Drive Tau or some new version?

If Ribbons was the pilot how the heck did he live so long? How old is he anyway?

I think most likely Tau drives, since the normal drives requires one to go all the way to Jupiter to build.

so Amuro Ray was the pilot from Rx 78-2 in gundam 00? xDDDD of course! if you are like me and you see the opening as an old gundam fan you'll notice that setsuna is inspired by the 0 gundam (rx 78-2) and the pilot is amuro ray! (ribbons almack) how many of us were inspired by this gundam to watch gundam? maybe all of us! so that scene from the opening of this season and the first chapter is a messeger for all the true gundam fans! not anyone can understand that anyway!
Rx 78-2 is like a god for most gundam fans, and O gundam is a god for setsuna..

I was 100% sure that the pilot was ribbons from the star! it was obvious! xDDD 0 gunam is messege for all the true gundam fans so that's why the pilot is voiced by the first protagonist.
well I'm lookin for hi-0 gundam, it would be so amazing if ribbons end piloting something like nu or hi nu! please! make this dream true!, that would prof that setsuna beat the crap of kira with closed eyes! (even if he does that now) or tieria at least, he is the rival anyway.
yeah! turn 0 gundam for regine! that would be so amazing! the other day I was thinking, what if they secretly asked tomino if they could make almack as a reincarnation from amuro? yeah! to much imagination! but xDDD I was thinking, what if an episode ended like that... my name is ribbons, ribbons almack or better I should say... Amuro Ray! xDDDD

ps: Ribbons is wan of my favorites! I like it from the start, and when I knew that he was voiced by toru xDDD I was 100% sure that he would ended as a the main boss xD
