Why?! Why would they put a re-run of a game instead of an awesome anime?! I feel so cheated now. >_< I was soooo pumped for this new episode.

Because the soccer fans outnumbered the anime fans. Hopefully, this isn't going to be a pattern here.

The show is 22 episodes, so I would expect a couple more weeks of no episodes during the shows run

This is unusual, though. Even with my 26 or even 24 episode animes that aired once a week, I've never had a show disrupted.

I had a question : what's Diamandra? Is it the town where the penitenciary is located, or just its name?

I believe Diamandra's just the name of the penitentiary.
Nowhere was it stated the name of the town where it was located, actually.

Soul Eater is 51 episodes and that's kind of odd too. Chii's Sweet Home was 104.

thats kind of crappy, but such information is always incredibly inacurate at the start of a series, so who knows...

Well if there were 22 slots for this to air and one got taken for soccer then it's now 21 slots with the last episode not airing.

Nijuu-Mensou has a week off (don't remember because of what), but all episodes were aired. So I don't think there is a problem.

I wouldn't think missing a week would be a problem. I mean, that happens all the time in America. Games disrupt shows all the time and they air all the episodes. I really don't think it'll be an issue.

Just watched it today, and it looks solid. Hana's situation might have been a bit much, but I emphatize with her in that regard. I was actually hoping Michiko would pop'em full of holes before she left.

well if it happens before a series even has a chance to get off the ground id call that a pretty desastrous start. building an audience is essential for tv series.
