Korean Best Moe has a rather large female voting populaton. There was a Male Moe Tournament in the Winter-Spring of this year and the top 32 or so were added to this contest as the best of all Best Moe Tournaments (three female years plus one male year).
Considering that the vote count has doubled since last year with the addition of a large and fairly factional female voting pool, they might be on to something. (Vote counts are starting to get into the 12,000s, with one at over 13,000. Compared to 2007 which high end match was something like 6,000 votes.) The Korean Fangirls seem mostly interested in Hitman Reborn, Gintama, and Code Geass.

Oh come on, I believe there's more to Korea than gaming or Kim Jong Il. I think it's like Japan with peaceful values and no right-wingers in black vans. Though strikes are common there. That's East Asia for you, it happens in Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, KL, Jakarta, Manila... yeah you get the idea. Rallies in Singapore too these days.

Quote:
[Chongryon members primarily consist of those who have retained their nationality registration of DPRK, as opposed to those who have chosen to take up either Japanese or South Korean nationality.] They're rather militant. I used to live in Osaka. They were rather militant, and the South Korean friends I knew were disappointed with their Northern "relatives". Didn't help that there was a large DPRK community in Osaka (most South Koreans in Japan are far richer compared to their DPRK "relatives" these days, and aren't centralised in Osaka anymore) and uyokus loved to use Chongryon facilities as targets - causing a counterattack... the cycles repeats...) South Koreans only go aggressive during sales. But then, so do Singaporeans and Japanese outside Tokyo. |

"Think we're gonna need a lot of images on this one."
I second this notion. I've already seen images of Luluko in the moe comments. It is going to need to be a lot, and if possible animated moe-ness to pull off a victory against one such as Lelouch. But is you want Lelouch over Kyon-chan....well there you go. Plenty of Code Geass fangirls and those that refuse to vote for Kyonko based on her status in "existance" to go around.
