Well, here's my list:
Daa! Daa! Daa! (this was one of the first fansubbed series I ever watched - I'd LOVE to see AnimeOne finish this!) Manga Biyori 2 Animal Yokocho Popolocrois (both of them - just need three more episodes, please, dedicated one-man subber!) Katri Ninja Senshi Tobikage (well, Anime-Classics dropped this ages ago . . .) Mama is a 4th Grader Ninku Ghost Sweeper Mikami Magical Emi Mizuiro Jidai Legendary Gambler Tetsuya (. . . maybe Triad would consider it? I love their Akagi and Kaiji releases.) Ashita no Nadja (though there seems to be some movement on that front - and I never really consider it stalled since releases are so erratic anyway) And I know Ask Dr. Rin isn't *technically* stalled, but I'd love to see 10-12 out sometime this year, pretty, pretty please, Live-Evil (IluvuandthepigpleasereleaseDr.Rin!)? I mean, at an average of 1.5 releases a year it's going to be twenty-eight years before you finish. P.S. And can anyone actually confirm that Lunar is no more? Because then I would have to add Gigantic Formula and both Mermaid Melodies to the list. |

When the second sola OVA was released by them, a Lunar member announced that it was going to be their last release and the group was dead. He might not have been speaking in an official capacity, but it might be the only confirmation we receive. Yeah, I'd say that all their projects are stalled.

Although I am not personally affiliated with the group, I have spoken with members from Lunar and they are most definitely not "dead". The tokyotosho comment on the sola OVAs seem to have been posted by someone that wasn't in the group - likely a troublemaker. While I won't tell you to get your hopes up too much, as Lunar are experiencing resource difficulties from what I have been told, the series in question is still being actively worked on. |

Great to hear that Tetsuya (OMG, never thought it would get picked up), Manga Biyori 2, and MMPPP are still being worked on! I'm okay with slow, as long as slow doesn't mean never. Thanks guys, and thank you to all the hardworking subbers!

I've gotta second 'Mama is a 4th grader', there's 5 eps out of 51 already out. It looks like a really pleasant one. I wish all the guys competing to release the newer anime ahead of each other would do this instead It's a lot less busy so it's probably easier.

Knew i was forgetting something yesterday, dammit ><;;;; Technically, a 1 man team finished it (iirc) but since it's such a specialised 'sport' anime, need preferably a fully bi-lingual mahjong player who plays in the West (to be able to make the translation decisions with the editor on the terms) aaaand has time to work on the series aaaand uses or is willing to use IRC. Chances for that are kinda slim sadly. Not imposs but not so easy either. It's not a 'never' though, so let's see what 2009 brings... Quote:
That's the issue with it. It's such an old series, I think only DVD would be an option, but no raws = no chance of working on it. Again, we'll see how 2009 goes though, but duly noted. For my own, it'd be M33w's seto no hanayome for me. At least I don't think they've dropped it for now
