Yeah it's not too terrible for Suzaku. He spent the timeskip year with Nunally.
After first watching the show I was all under the impression that he'd live in the shadows for the rest of his life, fighting injustice as a sort of giant robot piloting batman. But after rewatching I see at the end that Zero is pushing Nunally's wheelchair. Does that mean Zero is pre-eminent political figure? What does zero -do- in a post Lulu world? If he's close to Nunally does that mean she knows who he is? How about Karen? Do they ever talk? Speaking of Karen, she still pilots Guren right? So will she join the army after school? Or does she just keep it in her shed, and use it to pick up chi... boys. TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS! |

He was totally screwed, but at least he had some company. xD Quote:
He will never be known as "Suzaku Kururugi" again, but the people love him. Quote:

Then again, it could take her some time until she is ready to face Lelouch's killer. Quote:
It's what both Lelouch and her brother wanted her to do, after all.

Yeah, Lelouch went through his own terrible history as well with the death of his mother and the crippling of his sister Nunnally, followed by the abandonment by his father to Japan, which would be later occupied. Really, at 10 years old it's hard not to be warped by all that.
Only thing Lelouch did wrong regarding Euphie and Shirley was not already telling the actual circumstances between both deaths (the Geass on the former being accidental, and the latter getting killed by Rolo). Hopefully it'll be at least implied, if not revealed, later on, that Lelouch eventually told Suzaku the details. As for "Zero-zaku", I think he serves as Nunnally's knight. |

suzaku is needed to help nunnaly rule
hes the only thing (or rather zero is) that keeps shnizel in check and i think its clear nunnaly knows who he is and why he did what he did as for kallen she knows who he is (she stops toudo from spilling the beans) and considering she still has a picture of him on her wall i think she could deal with facing him

Lulu practically gave them the happy ending because he suffered a huge guilt trip from the deaths of Shirley, Euphie and Rolo and the deal he made with Suzaku and Nina. This series would've had a more awesome ending if he had continued his reign and let the BK rot in prison or make them his mind slaves |

Oh well. I voted for an ending in which Arthur marries Clovis (who would have had returned from the dead by then) and leaves Suzaku to Lelouch. Then, C.C. would have chased after them, and Clovis would have cried. ...Yep, I like alternative endings. xDD

I like it much better with the original voices, though. ...Still, little Suzaku and Lelouch are so incredibly adorable! xD Quote:
And he was afraid his father might castrate him... Lelouch had similar reasons for not going back to Britannia, after all. *nods her head* Errr... yes, Freud has definitely been poisoning my mind. xD

...Omg, Euphie was his mother. O_O Oh, that reminds me... I'm supposed to give you a hug from our other soulmate, who is busy right now. xD *titles her head* I'm still fascinated by how different the older and the younger version of Suzaku are.

In the end conflicts are always going to happen and change is going to take place
Suzaku wanted a slow gradual change with little casualties. While lulu wanted radical immediate change with a blood bath if necessary In this regard Suzaku lost to Lulu's Geass being unable to prevent a blood bath so the slow method was pretty much void after episode 18 hence why teaming up with zero to aid in his blood bath made sense. |

Exactly this. I think, it was said in the preview in one of the first epis of S1, episode 6, was it? That was the difference between them. Idealists with different means. |

Come now, couldn't you see it? ZR begins, Suzaku starts charging, everyone starts suddenly having hope and faith in either Zero or Lelouch, and then all of a sudden Lelouch snaps his fingers and Suzaku gets gunned down. Lelouch looks down at Nunally and Suzaku's last breaths and throws an evil laugh "Hahahahahahahaha you actually trusted me to give up ruling the world forever and my life. Onward with the execution!"
