Yokai's Den
Hey guys, I'm relatively new here, but since this is an anime board and I am working on my anime drawings, I guess this would be the most logical place to post. First off, let me link my deviant art page:
http://theyokai.deviantart.com/ Haha, yes, that's my picture there. I'm not really much of a looker. Anyway, off to my drawings/avatars/sigs. Currently using photoshop w/out a drawing pad for my drawings, using pen tool over my original drawings. I definitely should say I am not the best artist when it comes to drawing anime but I am definitely trying to get better because I love anime so so so so much! Spoiler for My Drawings/Works:
Spoiler for Avatars/Sigs:
This is a bit empty now, I know. A bit boring too because of it. Regardless, I will update this frequently! Comment on anything you want, I will try to upload some paintings and such onto deviant art asap, I need to figure out how to get them onto my computer first though.

don't be discouraged.
human body is one of the hardest thing to draw in the world. its best you do some life drawing to learn the human body. and NO despite what many saids DO NOT LEARN MUSCLES first. this is a suicide move. Your only making it harder to understnd the gesture of the human by clouding yourself with muscles here and there. Which depending on the position looks nothing like what you learned in some straight standing tutorial. |

Congratulations on opening your thread and welcome to Fan Creations.
Don't be (or be if you're as impatient as me ) discouraged. Humans are indeed very very difficult to draw. I'd probably be bald by now if I had any more patience to keep drawing them. All in good time and I can promise it will take a lot of work and time to learn to draw people properly. As for graphics, I'd say that coloring and composition may need a bit of work. Some of your sigs are quite good but some... Keep on working improvement comes through experience. |
