Is it me or did the animators forgot that Ayame had a small bust (when the thug started to undress and then take pictures of her) (her chest wasn't really THAT flat)

I love how Ayame struts around in her everyday life and she looks like a supermodel.

It's amazing that Wa-san wouldn't even bat an eye at her. It's like she doesn't even exist!

Wow, talk about skipping a lot of chapters, thankfully the will be backtracking to the festival

But this episode highlights one of the reason why Wa san is so awesome. I still like Yoichi but while his character is "flawless" (besides the fact that he can't control his blood) I enjoy watching Wa san's unstable fluctuations more.

The did tone down the fanservice for Ayame since she was supposed to show a lot more skin, but strangely she was still irresistible even without that...talk about the tomboy-moe factor being overlooked a lot of the times

And I still laugh at Wa san's spiked balled weapons...the anime could really have done without something too ridiculous

Just finished ep 8. Now i've realized that the only reason keep me from dropping this series is Wa-san...

Spoiler for ep 8:

After watching ep 8, my thoughts about Wa-san is a idiot are completely changed. Though he always gets hilarious imaginations and old-style, but he's quite good as a man... (True man, i assume) Watch carefully at the scene when Ayame intented to give him a towel, Wa-san quickly refused to accept it and told her that she should have given it to Yoichi. It proved that he already knew that the one Ayame likes is Yoichi and gave her a chance to give it.

Yeah, he maybe looked as a dumbass who always cares only about Ibuki, but on the contrary he can understand others feeling and support it. (Except Ibuki & Tsubasa)
"Give it to him for real this time" - Wa-san. This line proved that he saw through Ayame's thoughts about Yoichi => He's much, much and much better and cooler than Yoichi!!

Blah, it was an ok episode. Nice to see more Ayame screen time, i just wish it wasn't with Wa-san at the same time. If she wasn't in the scenes with him, i could skip his parts of course.

Chihaya plotting again.lol. I miss episode 4 so much, sucks she's reduce to this role now.. Hopefully she's not stuck in this zone for too long. lol @ kagome wanting show her pic so bad.

Wasn't many hilarious moments outside of Tsubasa shooting a beam at Angie

The Ayame scene towards the end was taking straight out of the hentai handbook.

Overall a 7/10. Wa-san basically ruins the episode for me for some reason, i tried to ignore him in the earlier episodes by skipping his that scenes aren't atleast a lil bit important but its just too much now. He's a corny character to me.

It goes to show that Wa-san's love for Ibuki isn't just based on looks. He loves her for who she is.

Seriously a good episode in my books. Wa-san has been a personal favorite since his first scene, and it's been such a treat to see him develop as a person. What a guy --- like i said in the past, Domon and Master Asia would be proud.

Blushing Angela was such a plus in this episode. So adorable.

Next episode - ohmygod neko Angela.

strangely enough, they cut out the confession part of the island trip that lays the ground for many comical moments to come. they're changing a good amount of stuff. i don't know how i feel about that. the festival should be good episode. i'm still hoping they get to the theater arc. even if its one ep, it'll be worth it.

yeah, Wa-san was good this ep. lots of development for him. not the main reason why i'm watching this show (duh) but character growth is a good thing..

I usually hate harem+fanservice anime and stay away from it (the last one I watched was probably Love Hina) but maybe that is why I don't mind watching this series, because it has been so long. Once in a while, these type of anime can be funny, especially when you have someone like Wa-san ^^

As for the most current episode, it was so so. One thing I wondered though was that Kei-chan really seems to be shrinking. Especially the last scene, his head doesn't even go up to Wa-san's shoulder anymore. Of course, thought that might just be how it's drawn or something.

Eh not a bad episode...Wa-san defiantly makes for a much more compelling protagonist then Samurai boy thats for sure.

Oh and for consistency's sake...

Riiiight, the delinquent as the protagonist, as if the series wasn't cliched enough
But I guess it depends on how many series one has seen/read that include the hard-shell/soft core delinquent archetype. Me, i adored Harima Kenji for example and liked several other similar characters but it seems i'm fed up with it now, i don't see anything special about Wa-san, he's just mediocre in any trait that is part of the archetype.

Riiiight, a stupid samurai who doesn't have the intelligence to decipher a fair fight from taking hostages despite seeing a girl get stripped and beats up middle schoolers and super-cliched-like, gets a bunch of flags with the girls while getting beat around by those girls is way better, I understand.

Episode remained pretty faithful to the manga although a lot of chapters were skipped. Wa-san was fun to watch as usual and now the misunderstanding start. It was a fun episode pretty much the usual stuff oh and Yoichi got beaten again without anyone even saying hey Ibuki he saved your imouto from being molested by thugs but oh well. I guess Ibuki's thinking is "i only beat the ones i love"

If only we had more blushing Angie i would be more happier watching the episodes. Still by far the best female in the series.
