I didn't even know what the hell a loli was until I googled it.
I've only got three figures. One is the 1/8 scale Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles, Toyworks 1/8 scale Rei Miyamoto from Highschool of the Dead and the Atelier-Sai 1/6 scale Kaname figure.

I personally don’t own any loli figurines, just figurines from a couple of visual novels turned anime series. The scope and breadth of Kitsune’s collection is what’s totally amazing to me, I can’t afford half of the figurines he’s got! LOL.

My main bulk of loli is Nagato Yuki.
But loli is not the majority of my collection, I've about as many Yuki as Mikuru and a little more Haruhi than each of them. Maybe 30 - 40% of my figures are lolis.

My collection is a diverse mix. I tend to purchase based on the character personality and the series. So I have everything from Vita to Yoko to Hazuki to Kagami to Motoko to Nerine and in between. One thing I lack completely are ARIA figures ... argh. must... find...

As a general rule, I haven't had the money to get into figures. However, a guy I know gave me a Yuki Nagato figure for free after accidentally ordering two. It's the catgirl cosplay one that can change colour according to temperature - apparently I'm the biggest catgirl fan he knows. |

As many people have already posted, "loli" has become a rather loose amorphous term. You're trying to use it in its original strict definition (which was somewhat loose itself).
Good luck with that idea I used to try to assert it and was routinely ignored by most everyone. "gothic lolita" fashion tended to accelerate the dilution of the term. I gave up when reading posts that decreed art styles to be "loli" like the ones used in Lucky*Star or Manabi Straight. Oh and you might try hanging out in an asian sector more often where you can find a large collection of small women, relatively smallchested with small hips who do indeed look like a 12 year old to the uninitiated western eye. One of my wife's cousins is in her 30s and can pass for 12 in a heartbeat with the right clothing.

Interesting Yoko figure there. I knew you occassionally got figures of characters in cosplay, but they don't seem that common. |
