Motoko's actually slightly younger than Kosukegawa. They're the same year in school, but his birthday is earlier.

And you guys have no idea how not rushed I've been... like... I sat down last night and did about 30 minutes of work on the site, then Top Gear came on and I was like "well... I'll just watch this episode and then go back to the computer..." and then some things happened and it was midnight and I was getting into bed and then I thought "Oh yeah, I needed to translate stuff... shit... zzzz".

I usually slack off from Wednesday to Friday and work for a few hours every day on Saturday through Monday and finish up things on Tuesday for release that night. This time, there's probably not going to be much of a release tonight. That just means there'll be two releases this week to make up for tonight, but still, I'm annoyed with myself.

Next chapter is all about Motoko's mother, though, fills in some gaps (and asks some more questions), so it's worth the wait.

ahhh well all can be forgiven as its Top Gear! I'm like that too with that show...even with the repeats on Dave >__<

but like everyone says there no rush, I'm just glad someones doing the series

I'm watching it on BBC America, just following the episodes as they're given to me. I haven't really actively searched out Top Gear in about a year, which is odd for me, but time is a fleeting thing and tv requires no preparation.

Finally some back story about the family this is going to be interesting. Looks like the next big plot device is going to involve grandma. It kind of feels like the great big final arch might be starting here's hoping I'm wrong.

Well Motoko's Mom from one of the dads looks like Fujiko.

Now it is interesting that each of Hifumi and also Zero has a color description. That could mean Motoko is White, Hibiki is red, Fujiko is blue, Mikiri is yellow and Zero is black.

Though I have a theory that with these colors and black being a combination of red, blue and yellow it could also mean there are other color combinations like green, purple and orange.

Back to the mother something tells me Motoko's mother could have also a multiple personality. Meaning each of the fathers have a different view of Motoko's mother and it may not be so much as a result of a trauma, except Zero, but something inheritable.

Now that Motoko's grandmother is in the picture wonder if she'll approve Kosukegawa as a son-in-law.

Wow good chapter , finally we saw Motoko's mother , she's like Fujiko and Hibiki ^^ but she's dead .

I'll tell you what, if someone whacked one of your grandmother's gifts to you, saying it was stupid, I'd think that you'd feel some real rage yourself...

Hmm...just realized anything that involves "DEATH" or dying causes Zero to fuse with HiFuMi. Only Hibiki now is the only one that is not fused with her.

I somehow think it's going to be a bit scary when Hibiki fuzes with Zero. One tends to shoot and aim to torture people, the other breaks bones and attempts to crush skulls onto the ground. Heaven knows what Hibiki is going to do what stab through people with her bare hands just like Daddy??

Spoiler for magazine chapters: So, I finally got chapter 46 in the mail yesterday (I order my magazines all together every month to save on shipping, so Champion RED gets to me about a week and a half later than it would if I ordered it separately because of the publish dates for the other magazines). Chapter 45 was great, with the slice of life part of the series getting the focus, but chapter 46 looks like it's getting a bit angsty (I assume it's not going to last long, so it doesn't really bother me). Sora's trying to figure out Motoko's triggers and goes a little overboard at the end... now we'll see how Hibiki handles jealousy (personally, I think that if any of them would go berserk over jealousy, it would be Hibiki).

Spoiler for answer for Magin: Sora is the girl in the color insert page with the keys that are wrapping up Motoko. She's introduced in chapter 41/42 along with the new nurse character. She's from the same group as Tsukishima Botan (big black girl) and is trying her best to trigger HiFuMi/Zero after hearing Botan's report about Motoko (she's oblivious to what Zero actually is, though).

I know Zero came out based on Mikiri's personality, but over food? And against just 2 nobodies? Thinking about how awesome Motoko's mom is, knowing Motoko's 3 dads are pretty badass in terms of fighting, I wonder what Motoko's biological dad is like? Somehow, I get the feeling he was some weakling[i.e. he couldn't fight], like Kosuke. That's usually how these things go after all.
