Just read the doll Special that you guys were talking about and I can say it was very sad story. I wish that guy would of had more time to spend with that miniature girl. Though I guess he can finally get a normal person to go out with I guess.

After reading it, it's quite good. I wish there were some more shots of Nozomi's diaper, however, seeing as this basically let's you know why she wears them.

Does anyone have the links for the 2 special chapters at the end of vol. 8? Can't find them anywhere and i've spent hours looking. Links for any of the other special chapters in the earlier volumes would be much appreciated too.

I noticed the original links seemed to have been removed, so you many have to look really hard. I'm sure some of the other members would have either the links or the direct files (which is what I have). Don't ask me because I really working hard on my Midterms now though.

Go to Baka-Updates manga updates and look under the Elfen Lied Series. You will find the two Volume 8 specials listed there as one download, and you can get them at the website of the group that translated them. But be warned that 99% of what that group translates falls under the 18+ catagory.

The file is their "Commission Release #386" for those having trouble locating it.

I was wondering, what ever happened to that chick that Nyu was taking care of? Did it get killed in the raid or something? I think I asked this question a while ago and I don't think I ever got an answer from anyone.

nvm now i got it, bandou was healed some how

Those things were not in the final magazine chapter, they were added for the manga. I liked the Nana part, but they could have left out the Bando and Annah parts.

I wouldn't exactly say that Bando was healed. He was saved, but he is 2/3 machine. And I think that it is likely that the gender challenged spy was saved by Lucy's arrival on the roof. Considering where the vaccine was dropped and where it ended up, I also wonder if Lucy snagged it and brought it back to the surface. Not to help mankind, but to help Kouta.

I avoided the elfen lied anime forever because I couldn't get passed the art style mixed with heavy violence (probably why I didn't like higurashi) but I decided to randomly start reading the manga this week and finished it, pretty good. Just how different is the manga from the anime? is it worth watching still?
