Admittedly, watching Clannad may or may not have influenced my decision, but upon seeing the simplistic Dango banner, it became a "no brainer" for me. I guess a lot of people here are "closet minimalists".

I am actually surprised how well number 5 is doing, with its huge lead over the others, since it was not the favorite during the nominations

Baffled as to what anime #4 came from.

It's because Solace rigged this stage so it coincides with Clannad ending. Or did not take that into consideration.

The timing of the contest is a pure coincidence. If anything you could say sbg711 was very astute in picking a subject for the banner that both matched the family theme and a show that was likely to complete when voting started.

Besides, this voting is all icing on the cake; as the first post says, all of the banners will shown in the rotation at some point, so none of the final 10 nominations lose out too much.

I see that number 5 has the most votes at the moment... It is cute, but are you series? It will look like a girly forum. No offense.

I voted, although none actually appealed to me. I would rather see a Gundam or two in there. How come our queen Sheryl is not included? =)

I do not trust Solace as much as you do.

Why were the rule on adding extra text removed, and also the rule that dictated the banners need to have the words "AnimeSuki" and "forum" in them. The dango just happens to be favored both by the rules and perfect timing? (initially it was not even 760px wide)

I feel Solace is playing us for fools.

Besides the 1st, 2nd and rarely 3rd I almost never see the others. I do not see even the current dango banner winning with a 51% lead to deserv that kind of treatment.
