Vicous-san, you live in Brazil?
I hear that South America has some evil evil slums... And also, the movie "City of God" has made me fearful of ever travelling to South America.. Care to enlighten me, and rid me of my North American stereotypes?

Somewhere in the galaxy on a planet called Earth, on a peice of land called the United Sates, I live in a hole in the ground called Las Vegas in a state people call "Nevada" (Neh Vah Dah? nya~). It's very hot in the summer and pretty cold in the winter, been here 6 years.
Originally though I'm from Los Angeles, California (out of Koreatown actually). I do miss LA so I make sure to go back alot *misses Little Tokyo, Ktown Plaza and Korean Karaoke*. Anyone else in Las Vegas? |

Brazil have criminals, I won't lie to you. But it's not a Colombia. And nor it's just soccer, jungle and poor people (don't take this as a criticism, it's not your guys fault this is Brazil's steryotype). But don't be afraid, there are a lot of good people here, it's just that (unfortanely) the criminals reign over the innocent people. Don't be afraid again, cause criminals just reign in the very poor areas, far away from the cities. They concentrate in the poor areas. How can I explain to you?... well, a wonderful country, just stay away from the very poor areas, and you'll have a great time here. If anyone comes here, a good location is São Paulo, Curitiba. Brazil is a very developped country in technology, medicine and other areas. Probably the most developped country of the 3rd world. It's a good place too live, not as peaceful as the USA, but the people here are warmer IMO. And the girls are much more beutiful |

Born on Taejon, Korea
lived in Seoul, Korea lived in K-town. (Korea town, LA, CA) Currently in the San Fernando Valley (LA county), CA. (ive lived in 2 different cities in SF valley. Currently in Tarzana) out of the 10 million ppl in LA, only one other in this thread is from it. I expected to see much more LA, or at least CA. But this forum seems to have much more ppl from the Dutch countries. (especially Netherlands) |
