Gai definitly, in all the fights in the anime gai has never take a single punch or kick. He's fighing style rocks, but i wonder if he can use any ninjutsu or genjutsu, all ive seen is only kick-ass taijutsu.
And in the fight in the arena where kakashi and the other jounins are fighting against the sound and sand ninjas. Kakashi and the rest are full of scratches and stuff that showes that they took some hits while Gai is all clean

But Jiraiya has the best chance at protecting you untill you're powerfull.
the guy has lots of chakra and lots of jutsu at his disposal.
He's just the guy you'd want to learn from. He doesn't say: you should be more like....

He's funny, lame (funny way) and WHO DOESN"T WANT TO TALK ABOUT WOMEN??!?! You think orochimaru ever got layed? tsunade would beat the crap outta you.
I bet Jiraiya would teach you some fancy sex-jutsu like Dick growth no jutsu!!!

By the way, Jiraiya has an equal/better reputation as a teacher, since he trained the 4th Hokage and Naruto, the future Hokage.
The 4th was loved and respected by everyone we've met

Better than Sarutobi, I don't think so, the man trained three potential Hokage candidates, Jiraiya only managed to have one such an excellent student.

Kakashi might not be "legendary" yet but he is well known so I would pick him. Mainly because think of all the jutsu you could learn from him I know rasengan is bad ass and all but you have to think about chidori combined with tons of other jutsu.
