no way piggie, I know what you mean. Does anyone else get awkward during those "lets walk down a snowy lane, stare at the sky, talk of feelings and -wince- hold each other" situations? Im so bad at those! I always say something weird or run away ..its not good times
now video games=good times |

Cook for Her!
I don't know most of your ages but, in Canada im 19 and legal to drink so , but what makes a good date is a males ability to cook. I'm serious guys! If we cook for them they will come. Learn now it will be the best thing you'll every do for her
But back to the topic a moderatly priced bottle of wine lol something from ONTARIO!! and cook something easy that look fancy -- pasta -- She'll love it and you'll score mad points for the effort. Therefore perfect date -- on a side note wine is pretty powerful stuff. -- also cooking is way cheaper then a restaunt -- lol ive said my piece |

Spontinaity is often seen as more romantic than planned events.
One rose is more romantic than twelve. (Twelve is more associated with the giver being guilty of something) Stopping at a beach and going for a walk is more romantic than planning an evening around it. Grabbing a couple slices of pizza and sitting in a small city park giggling is often more romantic than a huge dinner at an Italian restaurant. Planned events are for anniversaries, and Valentine's day, etc. Non-occasional romance should seem whim. I prefer to rent a couple DVDs than go to a theatre and snuggle up on the couch. I really don't like sit down restaurants, so I prefer take out or conning him into cooking for me (I am the anti-cook! I can burn water!) .. But then, my back and leg are massively gimped, so it really limits me. If you ever ask someone "What do you want to do?" and they say "Whatever" ask them what they DON'T want to do. If they still say "Whatever" move on! They'll forever have you making all the decisions and half the time you'll be expected to be psychic to know what the "right" decision was! -Shady. |

geez. and i thought girls who loved to play videogames more than me couldn't exist. what type of games do u play anyway out of curiosity? as for romancing, it's strange but I just kinda wing a things more than often. i do make a general plan (movie, dinner, sightseeing, clubbin') depending on the situation (type of girl, how well i know her, blah blah) on what to do during the day/night but i won't be set on it completely. basically try to follow it and improvise if need be. and my overall strategy is... be relaxed and be myself... i hear i can be quite charming when i am relaxed. and a smartass too but urrr... i think the girls like that as well... make the girl smile and laugh... smiles and laughters are great dating weapons. use them! |

That's it shadowydreamer.. Spontaneousity!
That's what i was trying to get at! As for conning a guy into cooking for u/girls, I don't think u're exactly conning anyone. Guys enjoy cooking for girls/women because it's one of the easiest way in getting brownie points. Unless you completely MESS up the meal, you'll get credit for an okay job because u tried. but if you whip up a great meal (practice fellahs.. practice...), cha-ching! those brownie points accumulate faster than a winning slot machine at a casino. presentation adds to the effect sometimes but not required. and make sure she's not allergic to anything you might cook up... cause i don't think it would be any good if your meal sends her to the hospital... u make it sound so easy shadowydreamer... i wish all girls thought like u. it would spur guys into not hesitating when deciding to ask a girl out. cause i believe some people are quite a bit shy but once u spend a bit (just a bit of decent time) of time with them, u can discover many many things about someone...

hmm cooking is a good plan, yes.
well since im sushi certified and ive been working on some new noodle recipes i can make pretty foreign dishes to most american chix... and the food i make is usually low in fat ^ ^so all those girls worried about their weight have no prob with it. also making sushi u can get hands on with them and help them .. and as of allergies.. unless theyre allergic to fish, vegis, or flour/wheat products they should be ok . btw anyone know if u can be allergic to wasabi? i dont doubt it, but it seems rather odd |
