It seems like an embarrassing thing to lie about. Then again he did seem to be over it by the time he was talking to Koizumi about it in volume 9. He just kept going on and on about her.

I think the only people who can view private videos are the person/people who the account belongs to and anyone in the friends list. Not really sure, though, as I've only encountered one private video and I couldn't even watch it due to region locking.

1. Go to the YouTube.com main site and create an account (top of page).
2. Go to Kadokawa's channel here and click "Subscribe".
3. Go back to YouTube.com main site and click on "Subscriptions".
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

If you're not in Japan or the US, use a proxy service to emulate being from one of those countries. That should avoid any region locking issues.

They should called it The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2009!

See above, the proxy might get around region locking, but I don't know having never tried myself. Private videos must be friends to view, if I remember correctly.

Kadokawa hasn't been region blocking. The videos are showing as "Worldwide".
