They got really uncreative with this vocaloid. She's just a slur of gakpoid and Megarune Luka, with a really bad charecter design.

Actually Megpoid has a really good voice, its probably the most human like voice. But of course having a human like voice doesn't mean its good. But again, it has a good voice and it doesn't matter if she sounds human like.

It doesn't matter whether the voice actor for the Vocaloid is a great singer or not, because a Vocaloid is supposed to be perfect pitch in ever sense of the word, you're the one who controls the pitch and singing. And Mamegu herself can sing and can voice act, she's only not that good yet because she's a rookie who hasn't even had a year in the industry. If she didn't debut in Macross, she would be much more appreciated instead of beaten down by shipping.

Megpoid's character design is really average though, it doesn't have have the Vocaloid feel to it. Actually that feel has been dropping ever since Miku, because she's such a good design. And when you start of so well, people tend to refer back to the original and compare everything to it, which usually results in biasness. People will take some time to be used to the new design or never.
