Need More Suggestions!
Ok i need new anime to watch. I'm sortof a violence junkie i guess so i'll try to knock out all the anime i've seen and liked and maybe you guys can toss me some titles i haven't seen.
Fist of the North Star Berserk. Samurai X Ninja Scroll Vampire Hunter D Hellsing Hellsing Ultimate Gantz Elfen Lied Shigurui Mnemosyne I know there's mroe but i'm drawing blanks. I've seen a few episodes of Basilisk... and the anime seems like a babied version of the manga. I've started watching/reading claymore... but i'm going really slow with that. I like it... just not enough to submerge myself in it like i did berserk. (which i read for over 13 hours straight) the more blood and guts and horror the better. |

its not THAT bloody but try Samurai Champloo, its a pretty unique(good unique) approach to samurai action. Theres also an ongoing basou sengoku i think about war between multiple nations including elite soldiers from each group. Though it was entertaining i didnt find Ga Rei Zero very interesting but there is lots of blood and i guess gore. Also try the higurashi series; though the animation might not be befitting of the gore it might interest you.

If it's gore and horror you're looking for, try MD Geist, Genocyber, and Violence Jack. They are not exactly high rated, but it's amusing enough. Ninja Scroll may fit your taste as well. Narutaru isn't exactly graphic, but it fits what is asked.

yeah, i second higurashi there, lots of blood, although it's not an action genre.
also, you can try Black Lagoon, where everyone try to kill everybody else there.

I'll second Black Lagoon, Claymore (even if the last 2 eps sucked), and Higurashi. You can also check out:
Baccano An anime in the stlye of Pulp Fiction and very good. Elfen Lied I didn't much care for this but from what I remember it was violent. |

Ii've seen Samuraiu Champloo. it was amazing, but not really as violent or serious as i would have preferred it.
I'll look into Higurashi, Baccano, and i've seen something about MD Giest, i don't remember what my impression of it was though, so i'll give it another look. thanks so far. |

Black Lagoon - Action in almost every episode. Gunfights gunfights, more gunfights.
Blue Gender - Human survivors fighting bug-aliens who have conquered earth. Much better than you would think. Doesn't get the attention it deserves. Kite - A couple graphic sex scenes (in the Director's Cut) but even more graphic violence. Claymore - Sword-wielding half-monster females fighting monsters. |
