New Manga

Alrighty. Im currently without anything to read.

Gintama needs to be further subbed. I just finished Peacemaker Kurogane.
Hunter X Hunter is on Hiatus ;.;

And I have nothing else in mind to read.
Any good Shonen/Recreational/Love mangas that would be suggested?

I like things like:
Rurouni Kenshin
Peacemaker Kurogane
Gintama
Dragonball
Naruto
Bleach
Bitter Virgin
Hunter X Hunter

I havent read much romance manga, but Im kinda interested

Help Please?

the athletic girl is only part of the 1st half of the manga
later its more about romance... which I LOVE

these manga dont have the magic/fantasy/mega unreal stuff because i dont like them :P

Never, ever recommend Suzuka (At least the manga) to anyone under any circumstance! The author's newer project however (Kimi no Iru Machi) seems much more palatable, at least from what I've seen of what's been published so far.

O.o Why?

@Shooting Stars

I see, I just like the whole pure of heart guy becomes strong and protects the ones he loves theme.

And a little good fighting every now and then

Romance is good to keep your emotions freed up though.

First, I recommend Rave, it's a complete 295 chapters of action, character development and decent plot.
Once you're done, read Fairy Tail, which is from the same author but somewhat better
Other than that....
Air Gear
Beelzebub
Defense Devil
History's strongest Disciple/Kenichi
Kampfer
Reborn!
Soul Eater
Until Death do us Part <-contains explicit violence and gore
Zetman<-same as above, includes nudity as well

The last two aren't recreational but they got action alright:P

I've seen the name Vinland Saga around, what would be a short summary of its contents?
Also, I'll take a quick peek into the other two as well,

I'm guessing you mean "new" as in "one you haven't read before". In that case

Sounds like Touch or Cross Game to me.

This looks like a perfect time for you to branch out of the traditional shounen mangas. I would suggest:
Kare Kano
Cross Game
Honey & Clover
Beck
Bokura ga Ita

All of these series have animes associated with them, and all of them were good except for the second half of Kare Kano which was horrible. But many of the mangas carry on beyond the anime (Kare Kano, Cross Game, Beck and Bokura ga Ita) and I will admit that some of these mangas I have not actually read but have simply watched their excellent animes (Beck, Honey & Clover and the first section of Bokura ga Ita

Oh and I'll weigh in on the Suzuka arguement. This is purely based upon the anime, I haven't read the manga but the anime was simply awful. Not poor production values or voice acting or anything like that but the plot and characters were terrible. The male lead is an idiot, the female lead is a total complete horrendous bitch and the plot situations are unrealistic and unreasonable. The only character worth anything is the token alternate love interest who gets passed over by the male lead for the female lead. Suzuka was a classic case of an immature shallow anime trying to act really deep and failing miserably, somehow I watched it all the way though and it left me hating all the characters, angry at how piss poor the plot was and angry at myself for actually watching it.

It's basically about vikings adventuring and doing awesome things. More seriously, it's blend of a dramatized account of the rise to power of a viking king (Canute the Great if you care to know more wiki-style) blended with the fictional story of a young viking warrior seeking to avenge the death of his father.

Suffice to say, it's pretty bad-ass.

I see.. I'll try those too.
I like Suzuka so far, I just wish Suzuka herself wasnt so mean to Yamato
Its kinda stressing to see it, but in all honesty I have been in those sort of relationships. Its not as far out as you would think. The part thats bad to some I suppose would be that the story itself is not selected of a really positive side, its negative..but interesting (to me at least)

I only have 2 volumes, but so far, it's about a boy who has a power in his right hand to make fire, and he wants to become a ninja. And he meets some girl he likes and says that he's her personal ninja and protects her.
