Mmm... Very little to none story progress is unfortunate. Though it was fun in its own way to watch Lawrence and Horo interact with each other. Especially since there was rather little in the past episodes?
Though Lawrence has a tendency to have delusions recently... Ah~, hai, hai. Lawrence, stop blushing. Not feeling happier if you do it. Horo's tail = Cheap The old man and the Sheik-look-alike from the OP appeared... The old man called the people outside the city merchant-like. Sorry... For some reason, they look more like a burglar or terrorist. Preview: Alluring Traveler? Huh?! Lawrence, don't tell me you...

That Was The Volume I wanted most to see animated. I feel cheated (both for my self and even more for those who haven't-or are reluctant to-read it). Now That i think about it, They did neglect to include some crucial dialogue in the Deanna scenes that would open up any possibility for the evens of the 4th novel to even happen... Lame... |

What a great episode. it was pure Lawrence x Horo interaction, probably making up for the lack of that in the past couple of episodes. Yet again i'm just amazed at how enjoyable just seeing those two interact can be.
& yes, i was expecting you know who to be female.

So is novel 4 really not important enough to animate or what?
Anyway, good episode. I look forward to finding out who the traveler is and seeing how Lawrence screws things up this time. Unless he doesn't, of course, and then that's fine, too...maybe lol.

Lawrence, you dog.. sweeping Horo off her feet with such a vicious spell
Seriously, once I saw that I didn't mind the rest of the episode being so shallow. That was the most genuinely adorable thing Horo has done since Lawrence played with her at the end of episode 1-13. If I was watching the episodes all in a row, it would probably make for a good filler episode after all the tension that came before it. But seriously though.. is Horo getting reckless? Or is it just me? |

Enjoyed the episode.
I'm a big fan of conversational character development, so I was enjoying the little responses and quips between the two. Though I wonder how much got cut out, some of the conversations ended up starting and ending suddenly and wasn't sure what the meaning of the conversations were or if any important dialogue was cut out. Lawrence blushing = creepy. Stop doing that. Where did Horo get that little fox fur puppet thing? lol I think the cloaked girl had a relative generations ago that met Horo and wrote it down in his diaries that he passed down the bloodline. Or that she's actually the town's chronicle writer that Lawrence is looking for.

Can anyone tell me what happens in vol4? I don't read the novels (can only find the manga?) and I don't mind spoilers. Amarti bought it for her I think. |

Out of curiosity, I'm confused a bit by that scene where they are walking down the stairs.. there is a pause after Horo leans up against him and then suddenly he looks surprised. Was there a joke I missed there, due possibly to quick translation?
