(CR) Saint Seiya - The Lost Canvas Animation

Ok I watched OAV 3 and 4 in HD/sub and they were awesome!
Like I said before, animation is awesome, landscapes are beautiful! Too bad the music is not good (except 2-3 theme).

So about these 2 news OAV with sub:

I don't understand why Silver saints speaked about their Italia's mission (so they have their senses) and after that, they attacked Athena.
They are controled by Hades? In Saint Seiya Hades sanctuary, Saints who came back with their surplices have their sense (DeathMask and Aphrodite too)...
Silver saints in Hades sanctuary seemed to test bronze saints. Perhaps it's because Silver saints are weak...

Stardust Revolution from Shion is so dumpy, it looks like a laser beam...*

Shion had a good seiyuu in Hades Sanctuary (this guy is an expert ) and a beautiful attack! It's very disappointing in Lost Canvas

I don't really like the fight Tenma against Lycaon in the manga, the same for anime... But it's funny to see this specter be owned by Tenma .

Tenma's death was good but too bad the music is so wrong!

Yuzuriha is so sexy in OAV 4 and her fighting style is cool.

About OAV 4, the music seems better! For example, the moment with Athena/Shion/Dokho was good because of the soundtrack.

There is the moment where Hakurei repears Unicorn cloth which have a good soundtrack too (very peaceful flute music).

Hakurei is incredible in this OAV, we can see his constellation when he used Seki shiki meikai ha: CANCER!! The music when he send yato to hell.

Yato looks like a hero in this OAV, so cool! BURN YOUR COSMOS!!!

The fight between Mandragore against Tenma/Yuzu/Yato was ok, but it would be cool if Yato killed this specter.

The final with Minos is brilliant!

Next time: ALBAFICA the god!

That was a very satisfying third episode.

Spoiler for Episode 3:

I found that the reunion and downfall of the friendship was handled quite nicely, especially with the addition of Kaoru Wada music. This episode really got the ball rolling, and i can't wait for more. Also good to see that the animation is just as good as the first two episodes. I have faith now that every episode will look this good.

Do wonder what's gonna happen to Tenma though. I mean, he's dead.

Good to hear Fukuyama Jun and Sakurai Takahiro. Two outstanding seiyuu's who have known to do some decent evil roles in the past. Perfect this time around as well.

Gleam Street is pretty good so I'll wait for their OVA 4.

As for OVA 3, the more I look at Kagaho's surplice the more it looks like the Phoenix God Cloth and the more I look at Athen the more I think damn, she's just so damn HOT LOL.

About Kagaho Lamperouge, well a lot of people think he's the previous pheonix saint. Bennu became the Phoenix in the Greek mythology. So perhaps it's not innocent...

Sasha is hot, but Yuzuriha is more cool

Do you like Wada music? I think it's so bad... I watch OAV 3/4 with Yokoyama soundtrack (someone did that o_O), and it was so different! Very good (except some moments where the music is not adapted to the scene).

OAV 4 used better themes than OAV 3 in my opinion but well, I'm not a fan of Wada soundtrack. Inu Yasha's OST was good but D.Gray-man/Casshern Sins no, they are too similar in my opinion.

Well it's "boring" to listen these similar theme and Wada soundtrack seems lifeless in my opinion. But Inu Yasha's OSTs aren't bad.

I would prefer to have Yokoyama in Lost canvas, I love his music. Well, there are some good theme in OAV 4 that's why I liked this OAV, but I hope they will not kill OAV 5-6 with "pathetic" music...

Wada's soundtrack killed OAV 3 in my opinion...

If you watched the OAV 4 with Yokoyama soundtrack (made by a fan), the first moment was incredible/intense compared with OAV4/Wada soundtrack in my opinion.

Different taste, different opinion. The music is good, not groundbreaking but nothing that I would brag about. Animation, story and pace is superb, which matters the most. Can't wait to check episode 4.

Is it just me, or does the gold cloth looks real ugly comparing to the SS ova gold cloth.

To me those "gold" cloth looks like its made from cheap bronze instead of gold.

Albafica is indeed the Pisces saint. And many people like him because his fight against Minos is consider to be one if not, the best fight in LC.

And why many people like Albafica? Because he's a god! Well, you'll see that when OAV 5-6 will be out . His fight is the best of Lost Canvas in my opinion (well some people prefer others fights too...).
Well I think I love Albafica because he looks stronger/nicer than Aphrodite from Kurumada's anime/manga. I though Aphrodite was so weak in Kurumada's manga..., so to see Pisces rox, it's a dream (yes, I know that some people love Aphrodite...strange guys )!

And he's not a "she", he's a man!
He's a bishonen like Aphrodite/Shun of Saint Seiya, but he's a man HA!

Just watched the third OVA. Great animation and very faithful to the manga, although the music is quite boring. I bet some fans out there will eventually be hardcore enough to replace the original music with Seiji Yokoyama's pieces LOL.
I still don't like how the Gold Cloths look like, the look they had in the Chapter Sanctuary OVAS was far better. Also, Kagaho with Lelouch's voice made me facepalm, hard.

Really? I didn't think he was bad. I mean yea, someone like Hikaru Midorikawa would've been much better, but I don't think his voice was that bad at all. Plus, I bet some of his hardcore fans bought the DVD just because he was in it. I'm pretty sure that helped with the sales.

Well now Jun Fukuyama is popular due to Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass, yeah perhaps people will buy Lost Canvas OAV for him. You can say this for Aya Hirano too, she is a popular seiyuu. Lelouch Lamperouge as Kagaho, well it's not the best voice for him in my opinion, but it's not bad. We will see his performance in future OAV...

About music, you bet right, a fan (hardcore?) replace the original music of Lost Canvas with Yokoyama soundtrack in OAV 4. I watched it and some moments are awesome! If you watch it, take the first part of this OAV and compare the atmosphere! So different! With Wada's soundtrack, I was sleeping...

They're just taking the most pop' V.A out there. That's like Hirano playing Sacha. 5 years ago, it would have been Tanaka Rie or Sakamoto (who did a great Pandora).

Well Souichiro Hoshi does Cheshire in Lost Canvas, I recognize his voice . And we will have Athrun Zala (euh Akira Ishida) as Asmita, he's a famous seiyuu too -_-.

Yeah they take Aya Hirano because she's one of the most popular seiyuu of the moment, I hate her!!! Speaking with her noise!!
