It's only occurs twice. Once during the Chuunin exam, where he got angry because Neji was ranting about how losers will always be losers and the second was the Pein arc, where she was merely the straw that broke the camel's back.

He doesn't care about her, your looking at glass like it was diamond.

I think that Naruto will marry Orihime once they meet and Sasuke is probably Sai's next gentleman caller or the other way around (but does it matter?).

Hinata clearly is a pervert. She's always checking on Naruto's chakra "down there" and thus she blushes as soon as she sees him. Before the chuunin finals, Naruto met Hinata in the place where they had to get the bells and this time, I think there were no bells, but some serious talk. I wonder why this coward of Naruto has just ignored what she said. I mean she really put her life on the line for him and even if he gives a shit (which is possible because he still hungers for a second kiss from Sasuke and can't disguise himself as Sasuke anymore to get close to Sakura), I think it's unfair towards Hinata not to say "NO! JUST HELL NO!!" or something more positive...

Is that bad? If Naruto is now supposed to be representing "Love", what better love to have than romantic? (Addmittedly I would like this ending more because it would be an interesting twist in a Shounen series than because Naruto and Sasuke could actually function in a romantic relationship.)

I would view it as exteremly awkward.

I don't think the editor would allow it anyway.

It's already been heavily hinted that Naruto's main motivation for bringing Sasuke back is because of his love for Sakura. And take into account the whole three sannin parralel thing, I think it's safe to say Naruto only has eyes for Sakura.
