For anyone who can read some Chinese, there are four different Chinese subs of episode one so far. Under differing titles: 蓝色文学/常青文学, 青文学, 青之文学, and 青色文学. The original Japanese is 青い文学. Maybe the Chinese subs can help someone produce an English sub.

This might be a bit cheeky but does anyone know if there's a BUYABLE eBook version of Ningen Shikkaku, the first story in this series? It's only 200 pages long and, given the lack of subs thus far, I feel I should probably read it before giving the show a shot, but it doesn't appear to be in print in the UK and I'm not about to sign up to the British Library just to sit there for a few hours with a book sheepishly requested from the stacks.

Oh, to still be at university with a copyright library on tap...

Any joy, anyone? I can wander down to the Waterstones at UCL on my lunch break but an ebook of some kind would probably be cheaper for what is a pretty strange impulse buy...

That was a really interesting first episode. It was a bit depressing and dark. The character designs, lighting and colouring are very similar to Death Note (I checked after and realized Madhouse did this).

Also did the MC (didn't catch his name) get molested by those women?

Yeah, the main character, especially at the end when he's lying in bed, really resembled Light as well haha (except slightly skinnier).

As for getting molested -> I believe it was something along those lines. "Don't tell your father...giggle giggle hehehe". Yeah seemed like he got molested.

I didn't watch the full episode in full detail, but at the end, what exactly happened? (IF YOU HAVEN"T WATCHED THE EPISODE YET, THEN DON"T READ THE NEXT PART ->)

I might be wrong but I think he wanted her dead. He didn't commit suicide but made it looked like he attempted it and survive to get away with it. Maybe he went all American Psycho and just lost it. I think he was feeling a bit guilty for it. I don't think they said explicitly whether the women died.

Hmmm, i will come back to this after i sit through the whole episode haha. Didn't say whether the woman died or not? Seemed like she was dead just floating on the river lawl. And even if she DID survive the fall, Im pretty sure she'd let herself drown than live, given that she was already committed to suicide with her "loved one (?)" and having him push her off the cliff first must really stick out too. At that point, she REALLY has no reason to live AT ALL. I wonder why they decided to go kill themselves...
