(L) Inuyasha: The Final Act

Feels a bit rushed. Is Inuyasha's training so quick? And they put Sesshimaru's fight in between of that training too....

I don't get the bit where the senni says Tessaiga is for cutting. Didn't the sword end up absorbing the senni's Youketsu so it's got such powerful Youki now? *confused*

The point is that it wasn't designed to absorb youki when it was made, so it's unnatural for it.

Well this episode seemed to pick up the speed yet again, as they blew through training very quickly. However this was less a complaint sionce I've never found training and interesting thing to watch. Early indications of the next episode seem to suggest another "jump". The confrontation between Mouryoumaru and Sesshoumaru was again over quickly.

All in all another decently entertaining episode, but felt dissapointed at the points that were rushed through.

im used to the rushed pace but imo they went a bit too fast regarding ginka and kinka

if i remember correctly the fire half was indeed absorbed by mouryu but inuyasha was there soon after that. inuyasha cut the electric one's youki and used it against mouryo and the fire brother's conciousness helped to toast mouryo a bit inside. though the most dissapointing part was that we'll never get to see dragonscale tessiaga's final form due the rather abrupt end of the manga.

There is a final form. It was never clear that they meant a final form of Dragon scale Tessaiga, rather than just a final form for the normal sword itself.

Well they are definitely moving it along. Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are getting instant kill swords instead of the normal do damage to the enemy until they fall type. Whether it's cutting through the yoketsu or sending their body to the other world it's pretty much a kill if it hits. Suppose with the armour boost that Mouryoumaru has been getting a different approach is necessary. But I swear hopefully someone kills that guy soon. Just annoying guy that takes big but gets owned and runs away.

was it ever shown that tessaiga has a final form? all i remember is the various upgrades ie the circle meidou tessaiga then the cutting meidou tessaiga. the sword kept the same form in the end. maybe it might have refered to a new appearance of the sword that never had the chance to appear. it could've changing shape to make it his own sword or something along the lines of bakusaiga's emergence. either way tessiaga was still a big obxtruction for enemies to get over

Nice episode. Inuyasha mastered his new attack and it wasn't long-drawn-out like most training sessions usually are. They handled the Mouryoumaru fight against the two demons also very well. It felt a lot different from what I'm accustomed to seeing in Inuyasha episodes.

Wow, nice episode. I was expecting Koga to get his shards absorbed there, but instead just have to settle for him likely getting horribly scarred. Miroku, on the other hand, nearly won it all. Of course, Inuyasha had to be stupid and save both their lives.

The recent epsiode was probably my favorite so far of this new series. While yes it was again rushed, it didn't feel as bad since they focused on just one thing (Moryomaru) instead of jumping back and forth between different story arcs. The fight scenes lookme beautiful animated and it was a joy watching. It wasn't perfect, but it was a pretty fantastic episode.

it was a bit of a let down not to see more or dragonscale tessaiga. personally i dont see black tessaiga as his final sword appearance. to me it's just a final form for the meidou attack.

Hahaha finally the end of Mouryoumaru . Really was looking forward to that guy biting the dust. This time running away wasn't going to save him. Absorbing Naraku was a dangerous move. Finally all that absorbing finally bit him in the end. Of course it was connected to Naraku using his absorbing abilities to get the thing that would let him break the barrier. He is a bad person to have as an enemy since he'll figure out things like this.

Too bad for Miroku. He took such a major hit and yet didn't settle things. Sure he's still alive but he's far from a good condition right now. Even if it meant dying he was prepared to do that in order to finally take down Naraku. Can understand Inuyasha not wanting to sacrifice a friend but they ended up losing a major opportunity.

Kouga wasn't having a great time either. No way that he would give up on his grudge, hand over his shards and walk away. The type that would rather fight to the end no matter the cost. Kohaku was stopped from dying this time but he's determined to follow through so will be difficult to stand in his way.
