Girls With Guns

I've had my vast share of 'Girls with Guns' anime and I can't seem to find anything to watch anymore with the related title.

Any suggestions are welcome, maybe I might have missed a series or two or maybe more.

e.g. - Kite or Agent Aika

I would recommend Canaan. It's perfect for what you're looking for.

How about Gunslinger Girl? It has both "gun" and "girl" in the title...

Actually yes you can't get more literal than Gunslinger Girl. First season was awesome. Second season... not so much.

Bee Train's girls with guns series:

*Noir
*Madlax
*El Cazador de la Bruja

*Grenadier
*Black Lagoon + sequel
*Strike Witches
*Gunslinger Girl
*Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino-

If you specify more of what you're looking for I could recommend more. For example, do you just need a girl to have a gun for it to fit your needs? If so there are plenty more of those.

There's a girl with a gun in Kampfer.

I wholeheartly agree. When "nowhere" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBemMKHlCJM) starts playing during the gunfights and other action scenes i would get so psyched.

n'thing Canaan. Great show.

First season of Gunslinger Girl is good, but I would classify it as more a character drama than a straight-up girls-with-guns action romp.

Black Lagoon is a great series for girls with guns as well.

Gunsmith Cats is an older series but it's one of the main titles I think of when considering "girls with guns."

Noir would be a lot better if it had been a 13 episode series instead of 26. Pacing is slow, too many flashbacks. Soundtrack is excellent, though.

Strike Witches is on my to watch list, I'v watched the rest though.

As long as it's not just comedy and actually follows a plot, anything is fine. The main protagonist has to be a girl who's main weapon is a gun.

I watched Noir but surprisingly I dropped Madlax, maybe I'll try to rewatch it someday but somehow I found it pretty dull.

Ahha, it's just sorted differently from mine which made me think it's incomplete. Sorry.

El Cazador de la Bruja is the only thing that comes to my mind. However, it's more about character and relationship developments than about guns.

There's always Suou from Darker than Black II (do anti-tank rifles count as guns?), Saya from Black Cat...can't bring any more to mind atm.

I dropped madlax after maybe 5 episodes but then randomly came back to it. Let me tell you, it definitely picks up once all the characters are fully introduced and the plot starts advancing. The last 6? episodes is constant excitement.

Yeah about madlax, I dropped the show after 3 episodes, it was so boring (except the soundtrack). But one day when I had nothing to do, I try to continue and I watched episodes 4 to 6, and after that, I watched the show entirely.
It's a great anime with a good story.

Madlax is hot

As some others have said, Black Lagoon is what you want. Revy has the best personality, she is just one mean b**** that kills for pleasure and money.

I just love her and I envy you if you are about to see season 1 for the first time.
