I was trying to think of another harem leader who didn't know he's a harem leader. Even the guy from Shuffle had a feeling.

Had a feeling? Rin knew damn well he was a harem leader. To me, Shuffle! was way more obvious of a harem than Kämpfer ever was.

And of course Keitaro from Love Hina. He has a harem (sorta) but he's only focused on Naru.

And Rin knew he had a harem, but he went through the whole series with that look on Natsuru's face in Eps 11.

Keitaro was a semi/ish harem but at least in that situation Naru had mutual feelings for him.

Rim definitely knew he was the harem leader because in the first ep he had at least two girls that he knew wanted to marry him but was a bit oblivious about the rest.

Even Touma from To Aru Majutsu No Index that he was in a Harem Situation.

but Natsuru on the otherhand was just oblivious to everyone around him. he is the densest harem lead ever i mean if any other lead got kissed by a girl like Shizuku that many times the show would of been over by episode 3.

Well, until the studio re-make or give 2nd season of this anime and repair the mess this 1st season do, they'll still rant here.

True. I didn't come into Kämpfer looking for a deep storyline, but for some laughs. I was entertained throughout the series and the two biggest compliments I can give the show is that I was never bored by it and that it made me smile/laugh. Good enough for me.

The anime might be mediocre, but as Forbin says, the joke it is, plus the interesting comments here, evoke laughter. Isn't that enough?

From my own personal experience in my anime club. When I play them one of my favorite show with good plot and interesting story, sometimes they just went bleh whatever, boring etc. Then sometimes when I play them what I think it was mediocre ecchi, they all get excited make all kind of ruckus.

Conclusion, everyone has their own taste. What I think is excelent might not be the same for other people and vice versa.

As for the comment of wasting 100+ page for this.

I practically like this one. From the first episode I know it wouldn't have any decent story but still proves me wrong. I didn't think at first that akane has the villain written all over her.

Every character has their individual personalities which I like and its funny all the times. Enough for me to entertain but I think I like the part about Shizuku the best specially the date.

Though I'm kinda irritated on the main guy....... his too dense. Even if his eyes are only for akane. The girl practically uses him and trick him but still go after her. Which makes me grrr. Good thing he remember the girls and side with them for the ending.

btw the bonus episode is just LOL LOL AND WWWWW that's all.

Yes "b00banaut.. err I mean "Dragonaut: The Resonance" is the actual title. And checked, there is no "The rising" as far as the usual sources are concern.

I plead that the awfulness of the ending and Garnet confused my memory as to the name of the series.

^no one knows, but judging that how almost nothing was solved at the end of episode 11, a second season isn't ruled out.
