Let me tell you something else about chinese fans:

Even more than the images collections (huge ones btw), other thing that still surprise me is the fact that I have two months checking macross webs, and still cant find one single post of ranka-fans

And the popularity polls almost have this ratio, no kidding.

I get your point there, is just never before i saw a poll like this (even here is not close):

Actually judging from the character polls in Japan if there is no Macross Frontier airing or in some way shape or form, Ranka will pretty much disappear from character polls altogether.

Its really funny, and somewhat sad when you compare Ranka's popularity with fans at the beginning of the series to towards the end of it.

She started out with the most fans, and the most support yet by episode 25 people were tired of hearing about her.

I don't like it that the animators make Sheryl wear very revealing stuff...and even draw her almost naked...it makes her look so matured...I like her childlike personality at times and her level-headedness so I find it hard to see a Sheryl like this....

my favorite Sheryl costume is the white bunny...so cute!
