I liked that too. The fact that she revealed the truth to Hiroshi really has me looking forward to next episode, to see how Hiroshi takes it.

Well, if this is like Higurashi or Umineko in there being multiple time loops involved (I honestly don't know if there is or not)... then yeah, this anime probably should be more rushed.

Right now, I can't see how they could fit any more than 2 arcs in if it's 13 episodes in length.

Seems very unlikly that we'll see a time loop since this isn't a "naku koro ni" title
but we can't be sure unless a VN reader to confims it

5 episodes are floating about, all translated/subbed in English and few other languages. The total count for this series is still up in the air. We don't know yet, or better yet, I don't know yet.

Ep. 5 was great, Though I can't believe they didn't take that sweater with Hiroshi's scent away from him though. As for the "Commerial", just seem to come out of nowhere, but I so called what was going to happen in it though. I wonder if the Hissaku commercial, I wonder if there's something more to it then just selling the fruit.

The part with the commercial is definitely one of those rare BLAM moments in anime...
(the other one i can immediately remember is the baseball episode in Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo)

lol at spiderman, so made this episode. The commerical was harlious too. I think the part being attacked by wolves may have some meaning. Well thats the impression I got.

I also thought it was nice that Isuzu spilt the beans rather to keep insisting on the moving away tale. I've never really liked her character so far, but thats the best thing shes said so far. Hiro should know be able to confirm of the executioning cult murdering people. I question if it just, but the little information so far isnt enough for me to decide yet. I sorta suspect who this scythe weilding person is.

I also get the suggestion from refering with the legend of the Orge killing people thu the mouth and and the way people have been kissing then supposely getting red eye. If its like the trasmisition of the disease or something. I beleive so after how they were treating the woman after she kissed with the brother.

Well I've watched up to ep 5 and not really sure which subs to stay with. alot of the files sizes are hughe, but I like big viewing width.

I also dont really like any of the main characters of this series so far, but the mystery has me hooked. Anyone else the same ?

The only mystery in this show it seems that people who are being infected all somehow develop this feeling of 'romance'. It's all downhill from there on. How they are contracting it is another matter.

So it seems the premise of this show is based on the answer to two questions: how they are contracting it? And why 'romance' trigger it?

The only thing to keep in mind, I suppose, is the fact the people who contracted the phenomenon.... we only have their words to go with their claims for 'romance'. Guy in the classroom who transferred (killed) didn't seem to be in love with the shota unlike our Onii.

I've got my suspicions about the scythe girl and agree with Chiibi as to who she is.

I feel bad for Issei's kouhai though, she was cute.

Can't wait for the next episode. And with their current pace, I think this will be 12 episodes long.

All the people living there are wolves,and somehow targeting hiroshi.The medication Issei needed were out of stock,so it means a lot of supplies are needed for that particular medicine? The old town probably has those "red fireflies" living there,the higher ranked wolves?The girl with the scythe is the leader of the pack? When she shed tears killing Issei is probably cause she had to kill a member?

Sorry but sometimes(?) I suck at analyzing.I would love someone to correct me/give opinions.

Well it seems the kouhai is still alive, we'll have to see what ends up becoming of her. Bad time to drive up though . Do wonder if her condition is life threatening or she has simply become like the other members of the community like Isuzu and her family?

Spoiler for Personal Theory:

Well I'm going to guess there is some local condition in that area. The people of the old town are all the same as Issei/Isuzu/etc. Some got tired of that sheltered life and wanted to interact with the rest of the world. So some went to the new town to live. But for that to happen strict rules were set up to keep things under control. They made sure people wouldn't get romantically involved with 'outsiders' since the condition of those native to that place will have bad reactions. They are fine long as they keep it within the group and it's passed along genetically.

The urban legends just exist to reinforce this and remind people of the rules. Over time they've managed to help medicate the condition and keep it under control. I'm going to assume they have to kill those who kiss outsiders since their condition can never be restored after that point.

That's at least what I've managed to come up with to this point.
