Looking for manga suggestions not based on comedy

Hello to everyone, i'm looking for some manga suggestions that are for the more grown up thought based crowd. Mystery and Horror are usually good.

I'm just getting into the manga scene and so far I really really like what i've read so far.

Anything out there simliar to these items?

Pluto
Monster
Drifting Classroom
Claymore
20th Century Boys

Hopefully your suggestions have been released in english as well i assume

you should try out
Mirai Nikki
Hellsing

Bit more action and not really thought related but you still might enjoy them.

Kazuo Umezu (Drifting Classroom) has another series called Cat-Eyed Boy, which is more supernatural hijinks than DC, but you might want to try it. Also his spiritual successor, Junji Ito, has has several of his works released in English. Uzumaki, Tomie, Gyo, and Flesh Colored Horror.

Some others you may enjoy:
Bokurano (perhaps Narutaru also, although that is ultimately so disappointing I can't bear to rec it)
Mushishi
Planetes
Homonculus

Cool thanks for all your replies.

One question though, i have been watchin the hellsing ultimate OVA's and i really like them.

Is the Hellsing ultimate OVA following the manga exactly? Or is it slightly different?

yeah the OVA's are pretty much following the manga. but there was an original 12ep anime of hellsing that didnt follow anything and they made it up as they went.
