Doujinshi is like a fan comic. It's a short story drawn by the fan artist with characters from a series. Stories can be pretty much anything. *grins* guess you've never seen all the naruto yaoi fangirls...*laughs* $20 for a dj..that's expensive =/ there's a lot of other djs too...i've seen some yuri h-doujinshis floating around...somewhere... edit: strange? no......not at all....*hugs all her doujinshi scans* ^______^ |

I didnt read that description because i thought it would be a spoiler for me... That is some fuked up shit right there. Hang on... it said that this was published.... If it was published then wouldnt that infringe copyright legalities? And if something as fuked up as that was published wouldnt the Naruto studio do something about that? ............ |

*sigh*
Iruka and Kakashi are NOT gay lovers... doujinshi - it's like a fanfiction...with pictures...stuff there is MADE UP by yaoi artists, who get kick out of two guys screwing each other. It's highly popular AND irritating, lol. And yeah, appearantly it's legal in Japan. Woah...I am surprised there are some people who have no clue what doujinshi and yaoi is - I thought it was like on EVERY block now these days! Go on www.fanfiction.net, Naruto section - 99% of the stories there are yaoi. |

Well then.
Since half the people here don't seem to understand what a doujinshi is (despite others' explanations) It's a fan-made comic. That's it. In recent years, it has acquired a secondary meaning as fan-made pr0n of anime characters. However, doujinshi does NOT mean pr0n. There are perfectly good PG-13 stories out there. If you see a comic about Iruka and Kakashi and their wild night together, that's fan fiction (doujinshi). If you see a comic about Gai's team and their mission to spy on a base located on the outskirts of the Earth country, that's also doujinshi. Yes, it is technically illegal. However, since it doesn't cut into sales and, in the end, is just fans showing their appreciation for the characters, doujinshi is seen as okay. After all, if hundreds of people enjoy writing their own Naruto-universe stories then the series must be somewhat popular, right? |
