Not meaning to sound harsh with my post.. Its all in good fun.. On a serious note I would love to see a Bleach movie but only if it had a good visual effects company behind it, and the right actors.. I would hate to see the anime that i love turned into DBZ by hollywood types that could care less about the characters or story.. On a side note I would like to throw my name in the pot to play Tousen.. HEHEHE....

On a more serious note though, maybe Christina Hendricks as Orihime?

Spoiler for Picz:

for two obvious reasons.....

OR we could just go with Phoebe Price.
Awww Christina <3 Do you watch Mad men Malin? She is awesome there. I can't see her as Orihime though, but she'd make a perfect Matsumoto

Nah not really, I just googled "red headed actors" and there she was
Yeah, maybe when you say so... funny how those I suggest as Orihime always end up as being more of a Matsumoto

Noticed this late : (

Bleach has had several Rock Musicals let me link the thread : )

EDIT :

Only watched making of the first one . Musicals aren't my thing but some actors have done justice to there roles in terms of make up and look .

I would recommend the actor Ryan Gentles for Tousen

A lot of the actors from the bleach musical works great, the only one I don't like is Orihime's actor since she looks nothing like her.

Just read it. Was bound to happen, so that makes one of the three shonen trinity to be made live action. Wonder how long it is going to take before we hear of One Piece and Naruto to join in. Well, hopefully if done right it could introduce the series to more potential fans.

Though any anime turned live action movies I've seen were more misses than hits I wouldn't mind seeing a decent live action movie and/or series.

Naruto becoming a live action might work though I'm thinking it would be harder to turn One Piece into a live action without overdoing it a bit.

Prove me wrong Japan!

I don't see Naruto being that easy to turn into a live action. Characters are kids, and child actors are tough to work with.

Bleach on the other hand might be a hit or miss. Let's at least hope it's not on the level of fail that Dragonball Evolution was.

WELL FOLKS LIVE ACTION MAY WELL AND TRULY COME TRUE.

Warner Bros. Adapting Bleach Manga
Source: Heat Vision
March 22, 2010

Warner Bros. Pictures is developing an adaptation of the manga "Bleach," to be produced by Peter Segal, Michael Ewing and Viz Media, the company that releases the books in English in the U.S.

The manga is described as follows:

For as long as he can remember, Ichigo Kurosaki has been able to see ghosts. But when he meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper from the Soul Society who battles evil spirits known as Hollows, his life changes forever. Now, with a new-found wealth of spiritual energy, Ichigo discovers his true calling: to protect the living and the dead from evil at all costs!

The title, written and drawn by Tite Kubo, has been published in weekly installments in Japan since 2001. An animated series airs on Cartoon Network and Canada's YTV.
