I just have a question about the Umineko "Reader Investigation" books that are being sold.

I tried to buy the Ep.5 one off Amazon.co.jp, but the shipping amounted to over $37.00 for a $20 book.

I was just wondering if anyone knows a trusted importer where I can buy this, without the outrageous shipping costs.

I have the Ep.4 one, because PlayAsia.com had THAT one for a little while, but it's gone now.
Any ideas?

EDIT: Haha, I forgot about a wonderful website called eBay.

Aagh, I meant to post this earlier, but things randomly got BUSY >_<. Not even in the mood right now to fish through threads to see what's been going on, so I'm glad there hasn't been much activity here and I know this hasn't been posted yet.

Anyways...a very adorable package arrived earlier this week, and I took a few pics .

(geez, they made her hair really big, and they didn't include any kind of support...that's why she looks tilted in some of these pictures, by the way )-

Since you can take their heads off and switch them, I think these next two pictures are obligatory-

(yes, that reads "Deformania Collection Pocket", which is completely Engrish English...in hiragana...in traditional Japanese writing orientation. Go figure.)

EDIT: Ah, and for comparison, I'd say they're about "one chibi level" below the Nendoroid Petits . The reason I say this is that they're not that much smaller (a half-head shorter) and their heads are wider.

Even as far as SD chibi's go, those Banpresto ones have huuuge heads lol. I never gave it thought till now, but Maria looks good in Jessica's clothes. I imagine she'd look even better in them when she's older.

I can't remember anyone posting up anything about the Beatrice 300 piece puzzle. It's of the Beatrice portrait, but in puzzle form. Mine was unopened until I took these photos. I bought the last box they had at K-Books (in the Radio Kaikan building, floor 3, Akihabara) for 630 yen (new and sealed), price on the box is listed as 1500 yen, so I got a good deal on it. Screenshots of the Beatrice puzzle and some shots of the box from the banpresto figures uploaded at:

For those wondering, the Banpresto figures retail for 980 yen, but you can get them cheaper, I bought the two together for 1500 yen. If you go second hand, they can be found as cheap as 500 yen if you look around.

I got that Jessica at ACEN in Chicago. Overall its a great quality figure. I paid 30.00 plus tax for it.

Yeah, they're not bad, though my Maria figure is badly discolored, so I don't know if the quality control is very good on these. I have to say though, that for the price, it's pretty impressive.

For those who care, when you open the box, the figures are in 2 pieces, top and bottom/legs, you push the two pieces together then place it on its stand. Also, I want a Beatrice figure!
