The AX 2010 full schedule timetable is out. The world premiere is scheduled from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. It's probably not a full hour long OVA, since there'll probably be introductions and delays, but it clearly indicates that the OVA is longer than the usual 30 minutes, which is good. A 40-50min OVA would mean 5 volumes has about the content of 10 TV episodes. Should be enough to cover the entire arc.

A lot of the chapters are nothing but combat, which means it is drawn frame-by frame to describe what happened. Some things happen faster in animated form, and vice versa.

I realized that as soon as I posted it (I've seen the manga). The combat scenes will be compressed quite a bit, I'm sure.

There are quite a few scenes, though, that I hope are shown all in their glory

Why would they censor an OVA I wonder? I guess it's because they're broadcasting it on TV, which doesn't happen often as far as OVA is concerned.

I doubt I will watch the TV version if there's a lot of editing involved. I would just wait for the DVD/BD release, and the dubbed version for pure awesomeness.
