Not that, I search for "Nanoha" and it doesn't come up. I search for "Fate Stay Night" and it doesn't come up.

Unless you're of the opinion that it only takes magic to form a barrier jacket, not maintain it. Same with the devices; only takes magic to make the switch, not maintain the form.

I believe someone mentioned that it's said somewhere that it takes magic to maintain them, but it wouldn't be the first fandom to have facts that contradict each other. The ship cuts magical links, the unison is canceled, and Subaru plainly says she's unable to gather *any* magic.

The devices and barrier jacket remained, but it's likely that the barriers and fields around them were completely nullified.

Don't know about maintaining them, but restoring them takes a lot of magic, as mentioned recently in Movie 1st manga
