Yeah, Ozil and Schweinsteiger have been great for Germany so far. But Podolski has also been outstanding as well. Those three, along with Klose, ripped us apart in our first game too.

It's not FIFA that determines the football rules (which would fall under goal line technology), it's IFAB.

^ indeed....

My prediction for this game > ... Mexico will be marking players on every inch of the field.. they have to actually cause if they give a lil opening it could be fatal.., Messi will have at least 3 guys marking him at any given time (double edge sword)...

Score? hard to tell... I am expecting a difference of 1 goal for the winner..

Oh not in soccer, in life in general. You don't find too many Mexicans in Mexico city fond of Argentina. Least, from my experience.

Either way, I'm hoping we can take you guys down in some sort of miracle.

I'm guessing Argentina wins 3 - 1, just for fun. We'll see.

I know why that is ... tho I won't comment on it cause I would be opening a can of worms unnecessarily

I thought that was a good thing. The blatantly biased BBC commentary for England when they were playing Slovenia was appalling. I really pissed me off and a couple of my friends too.

This time the commentary was much more reasonable, imo (well i guess they didn't have much choice in the matter =P).

So far he is doing a much better job than your football players though.
And to top it off, we're apparently the worst country in tennis. It's a good day to be English.

Predicting a 3 - 2 win for Argentina!

Update: Wow, this match makes the last one feels like a molass. Very fast paced game so far.

Mexico playing a lot better tonight than they did against France.

So... I'm hoping 2-1 for Mexico.

I'm curious, which BBC channels are you guys tuning into? Because the World Service coverage has thus far been excellent, with none of the jingoism you guys are complaining about. Rather, the World Service has been fair, balanced and smoothly urbane, as befitting the Beeb's reputation around the world.

Mexico vs. Argentina is a very fast paced game (almost chaotic), several good chances on both sides so far.

Poor Messi, there's always somebody else stealing his goals...But that's clearly offside, no? Yet another controversial decision by a referee....

That was offside crystal clear. Nice going there ref.

Yet another match ruined by the incompetence of the linesmen and referee.

OHHH THE DRAMA!! Now do u guys see why Goal line tech is needed??? There needs to be irrefutable evidence so that the refs can make the right call otherwise they'll be screwing up game after game....

Call it a "how to be a ref ... tech FOR DUMMIES" lol....
