Looks to me that suprnova removed that torrent, so that must be a fake too. I'm sure it won't be the last of the fakes..

unfortunately, it's the same file that everyone else has downloaded. It says on the page that its 2gb but when you go and download it, you find that its the 4gb file. This is the file that i downloaded.

sick? lol get a grip. So someone put a file on a tracker and named it Naruto Movie.

People should have been suspicious just from the name of the file - no fansubbers tags or even the title of the movie and that it was a full dvd's worth. No decent ripping group would release a dvd image first because it's the least accessable form of media.

Let alone the fact that no Naruto fansite confirmed it was real or any fansubbers pimped it.

Downloading this was naive to put it kindly.

this is what happens when you try to burn it. i chose ignore on the first screen and ended up with a coaster. also theres crap in the type of image and block size :/

Tos who? That was the first flag to go up right off. I went ahead and dl'd the movie anyways due to having a 10mbit connection and it went pretty quick. First off you can view any .img file by mounting it with Daemon Tools which is the end all of mounting tools it totally rocks. Upon mounting it with DT i was unable to view the file, go figure, and a burn produced a coaster with no data on it so i'm only out 1 blank dvd-r and nothing else. Was fun to think that it was out but oh well.

The DVDR of GITS Innocence should be out soon thou hopefully hawks will put it out like they said they would. Their dvdrip of the movie was very good althou the subs were a little hard to read at times.

:fingers: You should all be glad it wasn't as bad as last year's hoax "Naruto Movie" torrent. That one WAS farm porn of the very worst kind. If only I could erase the first images that showed from that video. Big nasty german guy going to town on a pig. No lie. I was waiting for you all to finish it so I wouldn't have to be traumatized again.

I think I'll have to get a plane ticket to Japan and bring my video camera... then I'll see the movie at the 1 yen theate & bring it home & post it for everyone. Will that make everyone happy? he he... Think of it this way, the longer it takes to come out the more excited you will be to see it.

I still keep wondering why Naruto isn't licensed yet. They must have a pretty hefty pricetag on the series. I personally think it could go bigger than DBZ if it was marketed right (or wrong depending on how you look at it).

On a side note.... I also wonder why DBZ hasn't been syndicated yet. There would surely be a re-surgence if it was aired on a public station, even if it was WB or UPN.

It was already aired on UPN like 8 or 9 years ago, but then they didn't take it past Namek...and WB was airing it too for a while when Cartoon Network first picked it up, but then they dropped it for some reason. I think its just been overplayed, Cartoon Network re-ran it like 560056356 times once they got their hands on it, and dragged it out as long as possible.

hi.. i downloaded a torrent last friday that was suppose to be the naruto movie. it's roughly 4.3 GB large and it took me until sunday to complete.
the problem is the files i finally got were a text file and a .img file, which i think should be for burning onto a dvd-r. i'm not sure what to do now because i don't have a dvd burner.
what i'd like to know is, is this file really the naruto movie? has anyone else managed to download and check it? i can't find the link to the torrent file anymore, so i can't find out who the group was. i had deleted the .torrent file after i downloaded it and am contemplating deleting the whole thing. here's what i got from the text file. let me know what you think.
